Betrothed To A Princess

It's not what it seems

"Alright listen after the debriefing you can continue your medical mission" (Captain Jovencio told the everyone.)

"Duh! how long will it take? The incident already took couple of hours for us to start this outreach program, the children are waiting! Can't we go on already?" (Annoyed and angry question by the Princess. )

"Mam, look I  know you want this outreach mission to happen as soon as possible but I'm just following protocols" (A calm reply by the captain.)

"Don't mam me! just go with it and be quick!" (An angry answer by the Princess with an annoyed face.)

"My Princess give him a break his just doing his job" (Divine's word to pacify the situation and to calm the Princess.)

"You know what Divine I really don't like him! I get annoyed every time I see his face! Grrrrr" (pissed off answer by the Princess.)

A couple of minutes went by.........

"It seems everyone is alright, thank you for your cooperation and you can carry on doing the medical mission"
(Capt. appreciation and acknowledgement to the medical mission team for cooperating)

"Thank you so much Capt. you know what if you did not arrive perhaps we might be in a real danger right now"  (Thank you words by Vanessa one of the nurses.)

"No need to thank me mam It's my duty to protect you!" (the Captain replied.)

"And you know what Capt. I can be your personal nurse if you want to, your so handsome!" (Vanessa added while flirting & giggling with the Capt.)

"Yaba yaba yaba! You're so handsome!" (The princess quietly impersonates Vanessa while showing an annoyed face.)

"Hmmmm did you smell that my princess?" (Divine asked)

"Smell what? I can't smell anything" (Princess Crisminah replied)

"the scent of jealousy! Hahaha" (Divine answered while teasing the princess.)

Few hours later......

"This will hurt just like the ants bite okay, oh see I know you are a tough one" (The princess appreciates the bravery of a children for enduring the pain of injection)

While assisting the nurses a noisy conversation with laughter catches the attention of the princess.

"Hahahahah yes you can of course! You can outrank me even become a general someday just work hard and go to school" (Motivational words to the young boys by the captain while being surrounded by them looking up to him wanting to be like him when they grow up.)

"He will be my husband! Handsome, strong and brave and well loved by the people and children" (Vanessa's admiration towards the captain as she and the princess looking from a distance while giving aid to a child.)

"Hmmm perhaps it's too early for me to judge the Captain, after all my first impression about him seems to be a mistake" (A realisation made by the princess as she utter words on her self about prejudicing the young Captain.)

"Captain captain sgt. Leandro and the squad has just arrived, they have one wounded bandit with them!" (One of the sergeants reported to the captain the arrival of sgt. Leandro and company.)

"Quick! Ask one of the doctors for assistance" (Captain's order activates the sergeant sense urgency and move quickly as he could.)
"Sir!" (Sgt. Leandro's snappy salute greeted the captain as he walk towards them.)

"What's the condition of this one?" (Captain asked,)
"Got hit on his right chest and left leg sir but the bullets passed through his flesh not hitting any vital parts. He us far from danger sir" (The sgt. replied.)

"We can't be too comfortable put him on the table and prepare some clean clothes and get a pail of water, also follow up the doctor!" (Everyone moves as the captain gives order.)

"Oh my! Is he going to be okay?" (Divine asked with a worried face.)

"I hope so"

"Sympathy with the enemy? I guess I'm really wrong about him"

"Hmmm is this a change of heart my Princess?" (Divine teasingly asked the princess.)

"Oh you shut up! Instead let's go lets see how we can help" (Princess replied.)

"How we can help?" CPrincess asked the young captain.)

"Here put this cloth to his wound and apply pressure. You please boil some water to sterilize the equipments doctor will use to stitch him up" (Captain Jovencio telling the princess and Divine what to do)

Look of admiration builds up on the eyes of the princess while looking at the handsome young captain being busy taking care of the wounded bandit.

Meanwhile........

"A simple fake ambush and retreat you cannot manage!" (Sultan Anur unleashed his anger towards the bandits.)

"It was all perfect Sultan when all of a sudden we are getting rained by bullets by the army" (Amir the leader explained what happened as he replied to the sultan.)

"You did not only fail but also leave one of your wounded man behind! Pak! Tell me one reason why should I spare your life? Huh!" (Sultan asked as he slaps and point a gun to Amir's head.)

"Forgive me sultan I take all the blame but I am quite sure that Nazim will never spill even a single word to the army" (Amir replied as he gave the Sultan assurance.)

"He must not be or else a wrath will fall down on you once this goes out and people will know that ambush is plotted and staged by us" (Angry reply by the sultan.)

"Let's keep this one for ourselves at the moment I can't afford to be scolded by my big brother as we find a solution to this problem! Wash your faces and gather the men, wait for my order before you make a move."

At the medical mission......

"You're all patch up, make sure to take this medicines three times a day to fasten the healing process" (The doctor told Nazim.)

"Thank you doc." (Princess Crisminah replied on behalf of the wounded Nazim.)

"Who ordered you?! where are the rest?! Is this part of a bigger act of terrorism? Tell me!" (The captain angrily interrogated Nazim to persuade him into talking.)

"Wala kayong makukuha sa akin!" (Nazim replied by his native language.)

"Please give him a break! He almost died for the wounds he got!" (Princess Crisminah intervened while asking the captain to give Nazim a time to take a rest.)

"The princess saved you now but you will talk sooner or later!" (Captain made clear to Nazim his going to deal with him again while slowly walking out.)

"And with all due respect princess that man you are trying to save is the man responsible why you've almost got shot" (The captain sarcastically tell the princess)

"Grrrrrrrrrrr! Why blame me?!" (Princess stubbornly stumps her feet like a child while talking to herself for being scolded by the captain.)

"No matter what happened I cannot give any hints to this lame soldiers that it is a set up ambush, once they figured out the ambush is not what it seems we are on a big trouble" (Nazim made sure not to talk about it as he told himself those words.)
