Sasuke and Suigetsu were the last people I expected to pair up, but I could see similarities in them. They were both stuck up, spoiled brats. They played fair and square but unfortunately ended up losing to us, we mainly won because of Itachi's excellent stamina. "You guys need to stop goofing around, that game ended way faster than it should've." He talked loud enough for them to hear. I could tell he was trying to piss them off so I let him talk his shit.

"Dude, what the heck. Your brother's a beast, we haven't won a single game." Suigetsu whispered, irritatedly. Sasuke rolled his eyes, agreeing it wasn't fair.

"Itachi, this isn't a fair game. Suigetsu doesn't know how to play, so it's basically you two vs. me." Sasuke spoke, pausing the game. He was right, I mean the guy looked like he'd break any second.

Itachi laughed, walking over. "You go with Naruto, I'll play with your partner." He motioned Sasuke to go to me, I sighed. He came over as we started another round.

I could tell Itachi was going easy this time, maybe he didn't want to hurt Sasuke's pride. "Itachi, I know you can play better than that. Don't go too easy on your brother." I laughed, trying to trigger Itachi, which definitely worked.

We played like that for a while. Itachi threw a longer hit, I went back to get it, forgetting Sasuke was there. We clashed as he fell back and I fell on top of him. "Oh, god. Are you okay!?" I say as I was in between his legs, turning my head towards him. He nodded, holding the back of his head.

I stood up as Itachi and Suigetsu walked over, slowly. "Dude, you okay?" Suigetsu asked as Itachi and I helped him up. "I think I'm fine." He grunted as Itachi patted the back of his head, "I don't think so, I mean you had a pretty bad fall." Itachi spoke, concerned. "I think you need to go ask the nurse for an ice pack."

Sasuke nodded, "I'll go with him." I say, knowing it'll probably be a bad idea but I felt guilty for tripping the guy over. We informed the teachers, as they wrote him a note. We walked in the infirmary as the nurse checked over Sasuke's head.

"I'll give you an ice pack but you need to lay down." The nurse spoke as she handed him the ice pack, glancing over to me. "You're his friend correct? I can let you stay until he's fine." She rumbled and left before I could give her an answer. I sighed and took a seat on the chair as Sasuke sat there, staring at a wall.

"What are you staring at? There's nothing there." I mumbled, getting freaked out as he stared at an empty wall.

He tilted towards me, as his lips parted. "Thanks for keeping me company." He spoke quietly, "You didn't have to." without an expression on his face.

He was acting way weirder, he got quiet all of a sudden. I'm surprised he's not trying to get at me for once. Maybe that fall made a difference or something, "Don't get your hopes up, I'm only doing this because I was the cause of your injury." I say, not wanting to give him any leads.

"I know that." He spouted back, laying down to face away from me. He seemed thinner than usual, now that I think about it. He used to maintain his figure all the time, now he seems fragile.

Did something happen at home? Come to think of it, Itachi also has been looking alot gloomier recently.

"Sasuke," I say, leaning back on the chair. He responded with a "hm", as I continued, "you look quite thinner than before. Are you eating good?" I questioned, curiously. He chuckled, replying rather quickly.

"You're worried about me?" I could feel a smirk plastered on his face.

I groaned internally, regretting even asking him. "I'm just curious." I spouted, I heard him snickering as he shook his head sideways, still facing his back towards me.

"I'm fine." He spoke, not getting a response back from me. "I'm alright, really. Things have just been rough at home, but that's a story for another day."

I sighed, tilting my head up to stare into the ceiling. I had dozed off in complete silence, not realizing when I had fallen asleep.

"Naruto, wake your ass up." I heard a voice echo. I opened my eyes slowly, rubbing them. "You're finally awake." I immediately knew it was Sasuke. I yawned as I shifted my eyes to him. He was getting out of the bed in the infirmary.

"Shit.. what time is it?" I stretched as I got up. I looked over the window and saw the sun setting down, it's evening already?!

"5pm."

"HUH?! Why didn't you wake me up?!" I grunted, gathering my things quickly.

Damn it.. I missed the bus. I'm going to have to stay out later.

"I dozed off too, don't blame me." Sasuke mumbled, walking over and picking up his things. He squinted his eyes in annoyance as he rubbed his head. "Fuck man." All of a sudden he lost balance and leaned on the wall.

I rushed over to help him as he cursed under his breath. I grabbed his arm, motioning him to sit on the bed. "What's wrong?" I questioned, getting worried something might be wrong.

He rubbed his head, giving me a delayed response. "I just feel a little lightheaded, I'll be fine." Sasuke tried to get up as I pushed him back down. He glanced up at me, squinting his eyes.

"Are you dense? You're clearly not feeling well—" I notice his unusual eye movements and realize it. "Fuck!" I quickly start looking for my phone, I tore up the whole room trying to find it. "Give me your phone!" I rush to Sasuke, he looked confused but gave it to me.

I go on the internet and scroll past some articles. "Okay, um.. lay down!" I instruct him as I carefully read the screen. He looked at me, confused, but obliged. I dialed the first number on his phone history, not checking the name.

"Hello?" I heard a deep voice from the other side of the phone, I instantly recognized Itachi's voice.

"Hi, Itachi. It's me, Naruto." I say trying not to waste any time. "I think Sasuke's having a concussion, I don't know what to do." I was thinking the worse case scenario, waiting for Itachi to help.

He sounded panicked, "God— okay, first of all calm down." He told me to relax while his brother was having a fucking concussion. "Just make sure he's laid down, and apply cold pressure on the back of his head."

"Okay, I'll try to find something cold around here.." I mumbled on the phone, unsure of where to look.

I heard Itachi sigh on the other side of the phone. "I'm really sorry for this, but could you please take care of him for me? I'm far away from home and can't return right away." He asked, concerned about his brother.

"Yeah, don't worry." I answer as I hung up.

I did as he instructed. I found an iced pack in the fridge of the infirmary and rushed towards Sasuke. I heard small grunts as I applied pressure to his head with the ice pack.

Hearing him in agony, I feel so guilty for causing all of this. I should've been more careful, now he's having a concussion because of me.

Sasuke's pov:

As I lay on the infirmary bed, the pain in my head was almost forgotten because Naruto was there with me. Despite the concussion, I felt happy. I never thought I'd get to spend time with Naruto again, especially not with him taking care of me.

The anger and bitterness that he had for me seemed to fade, even though I knew it wasn't going to stay like this for long. I'm just happy that it even happened. Naruto's genuine concern made me feel like I still had hope, I missed this feeling ever since we parted ways.

Thinking back to our happier times, I remembered how much of a fool I was to not notice Naruto's kind heart. Now, those traits were helping me when I needed them most. I chuckled thinking how ironic it was that a concussion caused by Naruto made me feel this satisfied.

I had once lost him, but now, I'm never going to let this loser get away again. I was an idiot for even thinking about someone else when I had him. Loving him was so hard, it was overwhelming, he was so good to me and I wasn't used to that.
