A nightmares disappearance

Chapter 3

with Shadow and Silver-

Silver glanced at the clock and tilted his head slightly.

"I wonder where Sonic is." Silver said, glancing at the door. "It isn't like him to stay out this long."

"He is probably just taking a longer run, he does have a lot to go through." Shadow replied.

"I guess," Silver sighed. "But something just doesn't feel right.."

"Silver calm down, I'm sure he is fine." Shadow said.

"Alright.. I just hope he's okay." Silver nodded.

-later-

Shadow went back inside and looked to see Silver sitting on the couch looking rather distressed.

"Any sign of him?" Silver asked.

"No." Shadow shook his head.

"What if they have him? Or if he got lost?" Silver questioned.

"Silver, he has survived much worse." Shadow stated.

"Yes but we were left to protect him and keep him safe." Silver said.

"He is not helpless, he can protect himself just fine without our help.. Unless it comes to his greatest fear but that is over." Shadow replied. "Besides he is like us, he can't die so he will be fine."

"I hope you're right." Silver said, walking away to make dinner. "Just hopefully he will return soon."

"If he doesn't come back by tomorrow then we will further our search." Shadow said.

"Alright.." Silver nodded. "I just wonder where he is, and why he isn't coming back."

-with Sonic-

Sonic winced in pain feeling something pricking him but he wasn't sure what, he still felt tired but he couldn't figure out why for his mind was quite cloudy making it hard to think, suddenly he felt something prick him and it made his eyes snap open as he tried to thrash out at whoever was doing it to him but he found he was strapped down unable to move.

"Don't move."

Sonic froze in fear for he realized he couldn't do anything to defend himself, he tried to use his powers but he couldn't focus enough to do so.

"W-where am I..?" Sonic asked, stopping his struggles and forcing his eyes to focus.

Of course he was met with no reply, confused he pulled at his trapped wrists but they would not budge with an irritated groan he banged his head against the examination table causing a wave of pain to go through him making him wince but he ignored and with that window of cleared mind he focused and a second later he vanished and when he emerged he found himself in a random hall but that wasn't the problem.

the problem was that he was starting to feel light headed, shaking off the feeling he glanced down each side of the hall to figure out where he should go, thinking fast he ran down a specific way and looked for an exit but it was a rather confusing place there was many halls that led to many different places and it was confusing him all the more.

"Ugh, where am I supposed to be?" Sonic wondered, checking a few doors that were unfortunately locked.

After a bit of looking and running around the building he finally came to a stop but he still couldn't find any way out. Irritated, he leaned against the wall and stared at the ceiling, his vision blurring a bit from time to time.

"What do you think you are doing?"

Sonic jolted slightly in surprise and turned his head to the left where he saw a mobian standing there in the middle of the hall.
