For a few days, the basketball team met up to discuss who they think the murderer is, including Midnight. Jason brought her because they had collected most of the information. The basketball team was so shocked at Jason bringing her. Bringing someone he hated to meets and meeting up with her alone? Seemed kinda suspicious to them, nonetheless they didn't question it. Sometimes midnight noticed that Jason would stay behind. One day, midnight got curious and stayed behind with Jason.
"Hey Jason..?" Midnight walks into the room Jason was in.
"Yeah? What's up?" Jason asked, hands on his hips.
"I just kinda wanted to wondered why you stayed back from the group when we all leave?"
Jason smiled slightly. "No reason, really.." he stepped closer to her. "..Just.. no reason.." Jason looked at midnight, he being a little taller than her. Jason leaned in and midnight blush. Jason then stopped himself. "O-oh.. sorry, I didn't mean to make her uncomfortable. Sorry, Midnight." His face looked remorseful, but still flustered. He walked away, grabbing his jacket and car keys, leaving Benny Burgers. Midnight couldn't believe what just happened! Her enemy tried to KISS her, or maybe he was pulling a prank or something.. either way, it stayed in her mind the rest of the night.
