~~~~The next day~~~~
After coming back from the Spring of Power the first thing her mother asked if her sacred power had awaken or not but unfortunately it didn't have awakened, her mother comforted to not give up hope, her last hope was the Spring of Wisdom—Zelda wanted to go there but for some reasons wasn't able to go there.
Right now, Zelda is on her room's balcony while Link is standing beside her—they had become closer since yesterday, it felt like she had known from many years—Zelda was gleefully watching the experiments of the guardians (A/N: they are like machines who throw lasers from their eyes.)
"Incredible..." Zelda says "...We're at a point now where we can actually control them. At the current rate, we'll soon know all we need to know about the guardians and the Divine Beasts....and should Ganon ever show itself again, we'll be well positioned to defend ourselves."
She flinched when she heard her father's voice from behind her "What are you doing here, Zelda?"
Link immediately bowed him and shook his head, giving respect to the king.
"I was assessing the results of the experiment with the Guardians. These pieces of ancient technology could quite useful against the—" before she could finish herself the King declared
"I know that." he said in cold tone "They are essential to Hyrule's future and our research demands that we keep a close eye on the. However, as the princess, you currently have a crucial unfulfilled responsibility to your kingdom."
Zelda her head down in discomfort.
"Let me ask you once more...." he furrowed his eyes "....When will you stop treating this as some sort of childish game.
She looked at him "I'm doing everything I can." she clenched her fist "I'll have you know that I just recently from the Spring of Power where I offered every ounce of my prayers to the goddess—"
"And now you are here wasting your time." he cut her out "You need to be dedicating every moment you have to your training. You must be single- minded in unlocking the power that will seal Calamity Ganon away."
"I already am" she one step closer to him "Don't you see—there's nothing more I can do! My hope is... my hope is that you—That you'll allow me to contribute here in whatever way I can."
"No more excuses, Zelda!" he shouted this time "Stop running away from your duty. As the King. I forbid you to have anything to do with these machines from the moment on a command you to focus on your training." he turned and looked at the people outside the Palace "Do you know how the gossip mongers refer to you? They are out there at this moment whispering amongst themselves...that you are the heir to a throne of nothing..." he looked at Zelda who was looking down "...nothing but failure, it is woven into your destiny that you prove them wrong....Do you understand?"
"Yes, I understand." as she said that her father left her balcony "Link?" she looked back at him.
He stood up and went to her.
"Tomorrow I'm going to meet all the pilots of the Divine Beasts and you will come with me, alright?"
He nodded and gave her a soft look.
"I'm......fine" she lied and he knew that.
