if i were to have a soulmate
it shouldve been you
now i carry hate
knowing its not true
knowing that day was our final date
or remembering the day you split my heart in two
if someone were to mention love
your the first thought in my mind
you encased my heart like a glove
made our relationship feel a unique kind
but if you did all of the above
yet we ended things feeling unloved
should we blame it on stars not being aligned?
if only we met now
since we are more mature
if us dating then wasnt allowed
would that be our cure?
yet i now have a you sized hole in my heart
that no one can fulfill
maybe if now we said "til death do us part"
this time it truly will
