i value many things in life
because there are many things in life to value
many many small things that deserve appreciation
deserving appreciation because they are important no matter how small

i value my loved ones
friends and family
out of all the things they couldve done
they spent their lives loving me

i value a summer breeze
in the middle of a hot summer august
although i hate every hayfever sneeze
coming from a gust of pollen like sawdust

i value a quiet slow walk
through the park to take in the wonders of life
i wod also value a nice talk
a deep one to take away my strife

i value each and every step i take
the next one as important as the last
because although they are only small moves i make
they are a subtle symbol of the past

i value knowledge and retention
and not just through me education and detentions
but through the experiences of living
the regret of not having these experiences is unforgiving

learning to value what is around you
will be the most powerful thing you can do
so take this power and harness it
let it lead u to a place where your heart is split
where you must make a decision to alter your life
where your decision may hurt like the piercing of a knife
these are moment you must value the most
because the power you gain is a reason to boast
