I pushed open the door to Sam's place, expecting to find her in the living room as she'd said. But the room was empty. I settled onto the couch, picking up my phone and finding myself drawn into a game of Call of Duty Mobile.

A moment later, Sam emerged from her bedroom, her eyes widening in surprise as she saw me. "You're already here!" she exclaimed, pulling me into a warm hug and planting a kiss on my cheek.

We spent the evening catching up, sharing stories, and laughing over inside jokes. Sam made us some snacks, and we ended up binge-watching our favorite TV show until the early hours of the morning. It was one of those unplanned moments that turned into a cherished memory. Sam's spontaneous warmth and our shared laughter made the evening truly special.

As the night deepened, Sam insisted that Maxwell stay and sleep at the condo.  Maxwell, always up for an adventure, readily agreed.  Sam, ever the gracious host, rummaged through her closet and pulled out a comfortable t-shirt and pair of sweatpants for him to change into.  Maxwell, feeling the warmth of her hospitality, accepted the offer with a grateful smile.

Our next meeting with Mr. Villanueva was scheduled, and I had called Avery several times beforehand, but she didn't answer.  Lost in the moment, I was focused on driving towards the building and didn't check the time. Upon arrival, I spotted Mr. Villanueva and Avery engaged in conversation. I approached them and inquired about our readiness for the meeting. They explained that they were waiting for Mr. Villanueva's daughter.  I suggested we proceed inside, as we had already been waiting for some time.

The air hung heavy with anticipation as Mr. Villanueva's daughter, a striking young woman with fiery red hair, finally arrived.  She was impeccably dressed, radiating an aura of confidence that seemed to fill the room.  Maxwell, a whirlwind of energy and nerves, fumbled with her coffee mug, her eyes darting between the newcomer and Mr. Villanueva.

"This is my daughter, Callie," Mr. Villanueva announced, his face softening with pride. Callie extended a hand, her smile warm but guarded.  "It's nice to meet you, Maxwell."
"I-, Nice to meet you, Callie. " Maxwell said nervously

the tension between the two havent died since the last scene.

Callie is reoorting her construction

"so yeah, that is my report and the construction I want to build. " Callie said after the presentation

"I- Nice to meet you, Callie," Maxwell stammered, her voice barely a whisper. The tension between them, ignited by the spilled coffee, still crackled in the air, a palpable barrier between them.

Callie, her expression unreadable, finished her construction report. "So yeah, that is my report and the construction I want to build," she said, her voice cool and professional, a stark contrast to the simmering emotions beneath the surface.

Maxwell's heart skipped a beat as Callie brushed past her, the sensation of her breath warm against the back of her neck sending a shiver down her spine. The whispered words, laced with venom and malice, froze Maxwell in place.

"I will make your life a living hell, Maxwell," Callie's words hung heavy in the air, dripping with a promise of retaliation. Maxwell's mind raced with fear and uncertainty, the weight of Callie's threat settling like a dark cloud over her thoughts.
