llie's POV
Turns out Sam had told them to come at a camp, and we're all gonna go: Shea, Cole, Maxwell, Grey, and Sam.
The weekend arrived, and we packed our bags. Sam and I were done packing while she was texting someone on her phone. I got curious and asked her who it was. "Hoi, sino 'yan? Ngiti ngiti ka pa jan," I asked.
"Wala, nakilala lang, model kasi..." she replied.
"Ano pangalan?" I asked.
"Jean," she replied.
A Weekend Getaway: A Tale of Friendship, Love, and a Touch of DramaThe phone buzzed in my hand, displaying "Maxwell" on the screen. I answered, a hint of annoyance already in my voice.
"Baby, come down na. I'm here in the lobby. Shea and Grey are here too. Achi's coming soon," she said, her voice laced with a playful tone.
"Oh, shut up. Stop calling me that, or else I won't go," I retorted, my voice laced with a playful annoyance.
I nudged Sam, who was sitting beside me, and we headed out the door. The lobby was bustling with activity, and as soon as we stepped in, Maxwell greeted us with a wide grin. I handed over my condo card, and we piled into the travel van. Shea and Grey were already seated, leaving Sam and me to squeeze into the back.
Maxwell, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, suddenly spoke, "Sam, come sit here in the front."
Sam hesitated, "No?"
"Go ahead, Sam. I'll sit next to Cole," I said, my gaze meeting Maxwell's. I could sense her amusement at my subtle attempt to avoid any "clingy" appearances.
We picked up Cole from her condo, and as soon as she got in, my phone buzzed again. It was Dane, my friend. I answered, a smile creeping onto my face.
"Kamusta, Dan?" I asked.
"Okay lang naman. San ka ba? Miss na kita," he replied.
Maxwell, who was watching me with a raised eyebrow, rolled her eyes. The door opened, and Cole, looking weary, slid into the seat beside me.
"Dan, talk to you later. Bye, I love you," I said, ending the call quickly. My heart skipped a beat as I felt Cole's head rest on my shoulder. She was clearly exhausted, and I instinctively pulled her closer, letting her lean on me.
Maxwell, thankfully, seemed unbothered by our proximity. I focused on making Cole comfortable, ignoring the faint flicker of jealousy that I sensed from Maxwell.
When we arrived at the camp, Cole immediately headed to the lobby. She asked if we could share a room, since Shea and Grey were already paired up, and she didn't want to share with her sister.
Maxwell, ever the understanding girlfriend, readily agreed. We were finally settled into our room, ready to enjoy the weekend getaway. .

The night air was warm, carrying the scent of salt and the distant sound of waves crashing against the shore. We were seated in a fancy restobar, nestled right beside the beach, enjoying the luxurious ambiance of the VIP room.
As expected, Shea and Grey were inseparable, sitting next to each other. Sam and Cole were glued together too, while Maxwell and I faced them, an unspoken connection simmering between us.
We ordered a feast of steak and appetizers, but the anticipation of the food only intensified our hunger. Sam, ever the adventurous one, had ordered a bottle of the most potent wine, which she was already indulging in.
"I'm hungry na," Maxwell whispered into my ear, her breath tickling my skin. "Can I eat you instead?"
I was taking a sip of water when her words caught me off guard. I choked, sputtering, "What?!"
Cole, with her usual sweet concern, asked, "Okay ka lang ba?"
Shivers shot down my spine as Maxwell's finger brushed against my thigh. I glanced at Sam and Cole, who were both smiling knowingly.
"Hoi, bakla, okay ka lang?" Sam asked, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Oh yeah, I'm fine," I replied, my voice a little shaky.
Maxwell slid closer, her hand resting on my core, sending a jolt of electricity through my body. As she gently caressed me, I gasped, "A-ah!"
Shea, sensing my discomfort, asked, "Callie, are you okay?"
"Ah, oo. Na-bump lang tuhod ko sa table," I replied, my voice trembling.
I quickly reached for Maxwell's hand, pulling it away, and excused myself to the bathroom, my heart pounding with a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Sorry for the late update im tryna regain my strength. 💪
