Silver is an unusually colored cat. As unlike his siblings, he have a bluish fur with light patches across his body. His eyes are amber, that occasionally glows with orange color whenever he uses his technique. His most notable attire is his collar, bearing his birth name. As Kiritaka keep it on out of honor for his former owner.
After becoming the chief mouser, Silver wears a bowtie bearing the logo of Bavatia's Police force. He is also sometimes seen with a harness resembling a bulletproof vest.
Personality
Silver, above all else is a brave feline. He never shows signs of fears and even daring to glare at a powerful spirit when it threaten to kill him. He is also shown to take action first and uses his claws to defend himself and those he considers family.
After being adopted into the Nagare Household, Silver has become their loyal housecat and is shown to being slightly smarter than before, with Detective Reiji calling him a "semi-sentient", shown by Silver understanding what he's saying and even remembering names and traits of people he met.
He is affectionate to both his litter and new family. As he sees Taichiiro and Maria as his parents and both Wasa and Kiritaka as his older brothers. It is this Bond that give him enough willpower to defeat the Bakeneko and take it's curse technique for himself. Even in Smilodon form, he only kill once they allow him to. Otherwise resorting to just subdue his opponents until they're incapacitated.
Powers and Abilities
Overall skill
Silver is the first known case of an animal with cursed technique. As a result of devouring and later completely subdue the Bakeneko spirit, he gain access to his own Cursed Energy as well as naturally controlling it.
Even before this, he is shown to be slightly smarter and more self aware than other cats. As he tends to avoid places with too much negative energy as well as detecting curses pirit. This allows him and his litters to survive both rampaging spirits and the nasty hands of curse Users.
After he activate "Smilodon", he is able to run at great speed. Such that it's difficult to be seen with the exception of another speed based sorcerers. He can also fire concentrated Curse Energy from his right arm that's capable to kill lower grade Spirits and stall Grade 1 and above. He also, apparently gained the ability to speak, albeit in a more primitive way due to his nature as an animal.
High Curse Energy
As a Semi-Grade 2 sorcerer, Silver have a high reserve of Curse Energy and later trained to manipulate it more efficiently. As he is a cat, Silver's curse energy had been integrated with his superior senses. He can detect presence of negative energy either by smell or sight in case it's a dark place. Silver is also able to use his CE to enhanced his reflexes and allows him to sense and Dodge incoming dangers. Along with his claws to tear through his opponents' flesh.
His Cursed Energy have orange colors.
Reverse Cursed Technique
Silver is able to use Reverse Cursed Technique on himself to either heal from injuries or refreshing his CE reserves. This, combined with his own "healing frequency" Made him able to automatically uses it and even able to cure himself of sickness. Hana speculates that he can live exceeding his normal lifespan. Presumably until he is 30 or 45 at best.
Innate Technique: Smilodon

A transformation technique originally belonged to a grade 2 spirit, Bakeneko which Silver owns after devouring it's remains. Silver is able to transform himself into a humanoid creature resembling the now extinct Smilodons should he or those he close with are in danger. In addition to enhanced Strength, Silver can run faster than the eyes can see and integrate that speed into his attacks. He can keep this transformation for 6 minutes (previously 3) or until he get exhausted, at which point he revert back to normal. He later lose the former limitation after mastering RCT.
Extension Techniques
Frenzy Punches
By dispersing his Cursed Energy into his fists, Silver smashes the ground in front of him up to nine times and imbues the rubbles with his CE to slow down his opponents. This allows him to dash them into a corner or attack using the openings.
Maximum Technique: Great Roar Cannon
Perhaps his trump card and most powerful of his Arsenal. Silver's right arm is transformed into a tool resembling a hand Cannon, that he can gather his CE and condense it into a sphere. After he let it out, the sphere grows into the size of a small wrecking ball and fires at the opponents' direction and explode on contact. The technique is lethal to lower grade Spirits and can stall a Grade 1 to either escape or allow his allies to attack. However, the technique consumes a large amount of his reserve, so he often use it as a last resort.
Trivia:
- It is speculated, that after gaining access to Curse Energy, Silver have the potential of living a long life as his RCT, combined with his "healing frequency" can heal him automatically.
- While he doesn't have a favorite food, Silver likes to eat whiskers brand kibbles more. Otherwise, he just stick to either rats or fish.
- His main hobby is sleeping. But he sometimes is seen playing outside or spending time at the Police HQ.
- Alain mistaken his Smilodon Form as a Shikigami and attempted to "tame" him. Which results in him getting chased by an angry Silver for an entire day. Though, he later forgive him after being told by Kiritaka.
- Oliver is the first person outside of his family he bond with after the heir gives him two bags of Whiskers Kibbles. Olly, in turn is fascianted with Silver's unique condition and calls him a "Battle Beast"
- He is a unofficial sorcerer and shares his license with Kiritaka's.
