Johan is tall and lean, with a muscular yet agile physique. His body is built for speed and precision rather than raw brute strength, making him an ideal practitioner of the Flowing Water, Crushed Rock Fist. His physique reflects years of intense martial training, with sharp definition in his arms, legs, and core.
His hair is black in color and styled in a short haircut with both his left and right formed an X on the center of his forehead. His deep amber eyes have an almost glowing intensity, standing out sharply against his pale complexion. They convey an unshakable resolve and intensity yet showing his more humble personality. As opposed to other fighters' deep red when they get particularly excited about facing opponents.
Johan typically wears a black tank top that's accompanied with both Bang's old dog tag and yellow colored chain necklace that he got from his birthday. His pants are loose but tucked into reinforced shin guards and boots, allowing for full freedom of movement during combat. At the Dojo or during his training, Johan wears a white Gi with black belt. Perhaps the most notable attire he have are bandages on his arms, as he willingly restrain his full strength to avoid accidentally going overkill to his opponent.
Personality
In a world where some people lives for fight, while others fight to live. Johan stands as an anomaly among them. As he instead embodies the ideals of his revered master, Silver Fang, known for his profound sense of justice and heroism. He stands as a symbol of the true purpose of martial arts: to protect and defend, rather than to oppress or dominate. As such, Johan is referred by other fighters to embody the "Old School" ideals. With some even underestimating his capabilities.
Johan views fighters who exploit their power to dominate or harm others with contempt. He believes that such behavior betrays the true spirit of martial arts and the responsibilities of a true warrior. This is subtly expressed in his disdain for those who use their strength for cruelty, Especially the likes of Yuujiro Hanma who's one of the very few people to make him lose his cool.
Outside of battles, Johan is unsurprisingly calm and composed. He is humble and lack the "drive" most fighters have. So much so this causes his presence to be nearly identical to civilians which allows him to blend in everytime he need to get out of the spotlight. He is a stern teacher and expect his students to be the best. But not to the extend of physical abuse and more so making them do community service everytime they slip up as a way to integrate his teaching in their daily life. When faced with threats to their lives, Johan will do anything, even breaking his own code to keep them safe. Even going so far as to threaten to kill Doyle when he hold one of them hostage.
