I woke up to the warm morning sunlight shining in my eyes as I tossed and turned while groaning already hating the morning.
After groaning for a while I decided to lie on my back staring up at the blank white colored ceiling in my dorm room I turned to remember the events that happened yesterday and tried to remember if there was anything important to do today but nothing came to my mind, or more so, my brain wasn't working at this morning hour.
Groaning once again as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and blinked them quickly, my phone's alarm went off telling me that it was officially time to get moving and do what needed to be done before heading off to college or in this instance to my part-time job in the center of this small suburban town that was 12 minutes away from my mom's current town that she is retired at.
I rolled my eyes as I sighed extending my right arm off of my bed to reach my bedside table I grabbed a hold of my phone and switched it on already putting in my password unlocking my phone and I pulled down the notification bar on my phone's screen pressing on the second option of dismissing my alarm for the morning before dropping my phone on top of my clean white duvet cover that was still laying on top of me as I was positioned weirdly by curling my left leg away from my body while my right leg laid straight underneath the duvet cover.
Groaning once again accompanied by rubbing my eyes once again as well, I sat upright in my bed and looked around while knowing that I looked like shit because I sleep differently from normal human beings, I then smacked my lips together after yawning a rather long yawn and throwing my arms up in the arm stretching them along with my back before throwing the white duvet cover off of me and scooted myself to the right edge of the bed as the left side of the bed was up against the bedroom wall which was filled with a black medium framed painting of cherries and next to the cherries were a reminder of the dorm rules along with the college rules and next to the rules and cherries were hands of men holding lipstick implying that men should treat women to expensive things no matter the value of the expensive thing that the women want to be treated with.
Throwing both of my feet over the edge of the bed and neatly placed them on the soft white plushy carpet next to my bed sending me into vacation mode immediately as I stood up and stretched my legs respectively before I picked up my phone and neatly made my bed. Hence, it appeared non-messy compared to what I woke up with.
After doing the necessary things that should be out of routine which I had to learn the hard way after I moved away from my mom when I got accepted into Kenyon College and my major I'm a freshman in the Music faculty program, I walked over to my white wooden study desk that has a massive black paned window with navy blue black-out curtains covering it but the window above my bed with sheer white curtains invited the annoying morning sunlight that shone in my face, therefore, waking me up and pulled the black-out curtains back revealing more of the morning sunlight into the semi-lively room.
I then stretched my arms once again and let out another long-ish yawn before rubbing my eyes once more with my right hand as my phone was held tightly but loosely in my left hand, after waking myself up once again for the morning routine which I somehow got used to in a short period (of being only two months into university), I switched my phone on once again and pulled the notification bar down pressing the Bluetooth button turning it on as it got shaded in a light blue hue on the phone's screen and a loud electronic beep was heard throughout the room coming from my royal blue Bluetooth speaker indicating it was turned on and has been connected.
Putting in my password once again in my phone, I unlocked my phone and then went into the Spotify app and pressed play from the song that I was currently listening to before I went to sleep that ended and the next song began playing filling the entire room with some good vibes.
