Cherry Blossoms: A Safe Word and Its Broken Promise

+....................+

Cherry blossoms. The safe word that had always grounded them in their most intimate moments. But that night was different. No matter how many times she screamed it, there was no reprieve. Jealousy had driven Akira to a breaking point.

Both of them were still buzzed from the party, their desire barely restrained as they stumbled into Akira's house. The door barely shut behind them before clothes started hitting the floor. Miko's thoughts, however, wandered to Ei even as Akira's touch ignited her skin. "Miko~ God, you taste so fucking sweet," Akira groaned against her neck, leaving a trail of marks and kisses. Miko whimpered, biting her finger to stifle her sounds.

They discarded their shoes, hair pins, and sense of the world around them in a hurried trail to the bedroom. Akira pushed Miko onto the bed, climbing on top of her, their kisses urgent and consuming. "A-Akira, please slow down," Miko pleaded, but Akira's fervor only increased, undressing them both with a feverish need. Their bodies pressed together, the heat between them rising.

They broke apart, gasping for air, but Akira's hands were already moving, pulling Miko closer. "Miko, this is what you get for spending more time with that slumbering Archon than your future wife!" Akira's bite on Miko's neck was harsher than usual, leaving a small bruise. It was going to be a long night.

"Mgh..!" Miko whimpered, her voice breaking as she gripped her lovers hair, who was placed in between her legs. Akira was relentless, her nails digging into Miko's thighs, holding them open as she continued.

Miko's body tensed, her climax approaching fast. She threw her head back, a wave of pleasure crashing over her as she screamed Akira's name. Exhausted and unable to match Akira's pace, Miko's eyelids drooped, her body heavy with fatigue. "Mh~.. can we sleep now? I'm all out of energy," she murmured, slipping into unconsciousness.

Akira picked up her head and sat up as she licked her fingers clean, savoring every drop. She giggled softly, planting a gentle kiss on Miko's forehead before pulling the covers over them both, settling in for a restful night.

Miko woke to the sound of birds chirping outside her window and the soft snores of her lover beside her. Turning to see Akira still asleep, she sat up, stretching. Flashbacks of the previous night filled her mind, and she sighed, her ears perking up. She grumbled softly, slipping out of bed to dress. As she put on her heels and applied her makeup, she accidentally woke Akira.

"Miko, where are you going, sweetheart?" Akira asked, rubbing her eyes. Miko's fur bristled, a shiver running up her spine.

"Ah, my love, I'm going to the publishing house. I have some new writings to review before they are published." She went up to her and kissed her softly .She smiled and hurried off, where a shrine maiden greeted her at the entrance. Yae Miko Walk to the Publishing House was not to long, it only took her roughly 12-20 minutes to arrive there.

The morning air was crisp and cool as Yae Miko stepped out of her residence, her heels clicking softly against the stone pathway. The scent of fresh cherry blossoms filled the air, a reminder of the serenity and beauty of Narukami Island. The sun was just beginning to rise, casting a warm, golden hue over the landscape.

Miko took a moment to appreciate the view, her eyes drifting over the lush greenery and the distant mountains. Her thoughts, however, were a whirl of emotions and memories, lingering on the events of the previous night. The wind ruffled her kimono, the fabric billowing gently as she began her walk to the publishing house.
