Finally, Ciel had achieved his goal.
He had enjoyed the people who thought of him as a friend and ally.
He had fed on their doubts, their confused thoughts. With the help of his skilful butler, Ciel could taste for the first time the soul of a person as pure and innocent as the heavenly spirit of an angel from heaven.
All three had teleported to the island where Ciel himself had first died. He remembered his body in the boat and wrapped in white petals. Sebastian had also cared for him when his soul had been stolen and always thanks to the raven demon, the Count had managed to come back to life. To repay his butler, Ciel would share Elizabeth's spirit with him and both would revel in the rich taste of that soul. He had left Richard and Undertaker to deal with Paul, who had probably recovered thanks to his immortality and would kill at least one of them and buy Ciel some time.

The island was covered in fog and the atmosphere was as gloomy as twelve years before. Only where Elizabeth was standing did there seem to be a faint glow of happiness in that forgotten place.
Ciel once again admired the sleeping face of the young woman. She looked so blissful that he almost felt sorry for her.
-:She is perfect:- he said with a low voice. Sebastian knew what his master was feeling. He had felt the same way the first time he met a soul like Elizabeth's. He felt love. He still remembered how love had deflected him from his duties as a demon and he did not want that unshakeable feeling to make Ciel lose his mind too.
He put a hand on the master's shoulder and spoke to him like a teacher.
-:Bocchan, even purity corrupts, be careful before proceeding:-.
Ciel sighed -:I know, I have desired this girl so much and now I am hesitating as if I were a newbie:-.
-:I'll be by your side my Lord, now wake her up:-.
The Earl nodded. He began to call Elizabeth and shake her lightly on the shoulder. The girl woke up, albeit with some difficulty. She crinkled her eyes and blinked a couple of times. She looked around and when she realised she wasn't at the mansion she almost screamed, but with Ciel and Sebastian nearby she tried not to panic too much.
-:W-Where are we? Why aren't we at the villa and more importantly where is Richard?:- she asked all at once.
Her cheeks were red but the rest of her face was pale with fear.
Ciel held her tightly, -:Goodness Lizzy, are you all right?:-.
They both stayed in each other's arms for a while, just long enough for the girl who was gasping because of panic.
-:I thought you were dead silly!:-.
Elizabeth didn't understand, what was Ciel talking about? She looked at the young man's face. As gloomy as this appeared, at that moment his expression was full of pain, his voice was broken and from his eyes flowed tears that Elizabeth never dreamed she could see as they streaked Ciel Phantomhive's handsome face.
The Count smiled in relief and hugged the girl again, who this time returned the embrace. Sebastian stepped in clearing his throat.
The two broke away and Elizabeth felt strangely happy to see Ciel.
She realised she was looking too long so she scattered her gaze in embarrassment.
-:I guess you want to understand what's going on:- Ciel said.
Elizabeth rubbed her temples -:I've been trying to figure out what's going on since you arrived...first dreams, then hallucinations and now here I am on a dark island and I don't know how I got here:-.
The Count smiled, which made Elizabeth even more embarrassed. She did not understand why, but Ciel had always had a seductive effect on her, which had also led her to think very vulgar things for a noble woman as herself.
Ciel took her hand to comfort her.
-:Many of the things you have experienced are real and you have within you a power known to few, that is why a cult has planned disgusting ways to torment you..:-.
Elizabeth was shocked, not as she was at first, but she was still speechless.
-:Richard and I have tried to protect you, we brought you here to keep you away from the enemies, most have been beaten but there is still one left that, weak as it is, is immortal and Richard is dealing with it right now:-.
Elizabeth was shocked. Richard and Ciel had risked their lives for her and they did not even know what her powers were.
She did not cry. She grieved to the depths of her heart, her head throbbed and she felt a little nauseous, but she did not shed a single tear. All those days she felt desperate to the point of hating herself. And now her heart was also split in two. One piece for Richard and the other for Ciel. The Count took her face with one hand and looked at her with his sapphire eye that was not covered by the bandana. With a sweet smile he comforted her and caressed her cheek.
Elizabeth began to slowly approach Ciel.
-:My little Lizzy, I am with you:- the Count reassured her with his deep voice.
Elizabeth felt as she did when she had that vision with Ciel, she wanted him with all her heart.
Their lips were only millimetres apart. Elizabeth looked at Ciel's lips, this time she wanted to taste them for real.
She shifted her gaze to Ciel's eye. She noticed a small pink tinge that disappeared instantly.
