"Where are you taking me?" She questions as soon as she gets in the car making me softly chuckle.

"You trust me?" I stare at her attentively waiting for her answer that she seemed to be thoroughly coming to.

".... I trust you" She looks me in my eyes confident in her answer.

"So sit back and chill" I rest my hand on the inside of her thigh pulling off from her bestfriend's building.

"What you been doing today?" She asks resting a hand on the back of my neck, her thumb softly rubbing against my skin with a comforting touch.

"Business for real, getting to a bag per usual. I was with ya cousin earlier though, y'all might have to get him an intervention or something cause drinking at ten in the morning is crazy" I laugh.

"Rory is crazy, we can't tell him nothing, believe me my auntie be trying"

"He too wild, what you was up to today though? Cause when I called I didn't get an answer" I playfully side eye her.

"Don't do that, I was in the middle of doing hair I didn't even see you calling, and don't act like I didn't call you back when I finished"

"I wasn't tripping, I know you be busy just like me. That was ya first time missing a call, how can I be mad?" She was extremely consistent with communicating with me throughout the day even when we both were busy, she was thoughtful.

"Yea cause let's not get on you and your phone" She says making me smack my lips.

"I be hitting you right back every time, you have horrible timing for real, I could be chilling all day and as soon as I get in the middle of something you calling" I laugh cause she really did have the most imperfect timing.

"So any time I call you not a good time?" She smartly contests.

"Anything involving you I have time for which is why I always hit you right back. I might miss that first call but you don't ever have to call back cause I'm already calling you" I finish looking over at her and she just smiles knowing it's true, no rebuttal could deny it.

"Yeah stop playing with me" I smile satisfied with her silence.

"Alright now" She interjects making us both laugh.

"You can't never just let me have it" I shake my head.

"No you got me, that's why I sat quietly but you tried to rub it in, I had to intervene" She softly laughs.

"Petty, but I'ma pay you back for that one" I slyly smirk softly squeezing her thigh.

"You never play fair" Her soft voice full of sultry.

"When you laying on ya stomach the only time I ever want to get my lick back" I look over at her taking in her beauty, she was one of one.
