Sanemi's POV -

I was walking towards the Butterfly Estate to go check in with Kanae and Shinobu. I told them I'd bring them fruits for some odd reason.

I still don't know why. Maybe it's because whenever I'm around Kanae I get this warm fuzzy feeling that I want to murder until it dies. So I'm trying to get it to go away somehow.

I stare at my hands for a moment, in one hand holding the basket and in the other nothing. That other hand remains holding nothing until Sorai lands in it.

"CAW! CAW! HASHIRA MEETING CAW! CAW!"

I grunt in annoyance, and change my direction to head to Oyakata-Sama's estate.

Slowly I head in and I'm not the first one here. Kanae is first, and she sits next to Kyojuro chatting and making conversation.

I sit down and wait for a moment. "Ah! Hello Shinazugawa-San!" She says, a bright smile pinned on her face as usual.

Quickly, I turn away with the blush spreading on my face. The blush in my face wasn't noticeable, yet of course if you squinted you could see it.

"Uhm, hey." I say awkwardly, waiting as the time passes.

Tengen and Gyomei come in, and soon the last of the hashira.

The room is filled with quiet chatting which I join in too, even with a loudish persona.

"The Master has arrived."

Everyone immediately shifts into their positions, I watch as the master steps in. 

"Hello children, today I would like you to go on a short trip." There are quiet gasps, that full the room. 

"M-Master, what if we have a mission during that time? Having all us hashira on a short trip could seriously affect something." Mitsuri says, looking worriedly at Oyakata-sama.

"Ah, be assured young one, that you will not have any missions yet. I want you guys to head to the lake, we have a new hashira there who he will be waiting for you guys."

Eh? Why not come here.

"Oyakata-sama, I do not wish to speak out but why isn't this new hashira coming here instead?" I ask, trying not to sound irritated in anyway that may offend him.

"I think it'd be nice for all of you, as my children, to clear their young and youthful minds." 

I see a few of us look skeptical, but I do not what so ever question the master's words, not when he's done so much for us.

"The new hashira, is the water hashira. You could probably determine his species when you meet him quite easily."

After a few minutes of discussing missions, the master gets up. "I suppose you should get going, please enjoy your day my children." 

He quietly exits the room, and Kanae gets up. "Let's go see this new hashira!" 

Mitsuri skips happily beside her as they share words and conversations. "Shinazugawa, what species do you think he is?" Obanai asks.

I try not to say anything too rude per say to Kanae's words. 

"He could just be another water serpent. That's all I can think of."
