TWs - Cussing, Implied toxic relationship (a little.)

Platonic Shinogiyuu/Giyuushino

BTW - BACK ON THE GRIND LESS GO!

——————————————————————-

Giyuu's POV -

As I was walking past a few trees in a park nearby, a crow dove down and flew on my shoulder. I stare at its claws, which seem to hold a note that I carefully take. I walk back as I read the note, skimming over the lines.

Shinobu is asking me for help?.. I..

I'm just not sure. Sanemi asked her for help.. her temper got in the way? I shake my head. No negative thoughts of Shinobu, she can't be judged in my book yet.

I sit down in an empty room writing my letter of reply.

Shinobu Kocho,

I Giyuu Tomioka will accept your invitation. I don't fully understand why you would chose me out of all people, however I will respect your decision fully. I will be arriving at the Butterfly Mansion in two hours.

Thank you,

Giyuu Tomioka.

A short, simple not in depth letter. En was still on my shoulder as I set the pen down, and I roll the note putting it back in her talon. "Return that to your master. Thank you." I say getting up, and I watch as En flies away.

It's only respectful if I bring Shinobu something. So I grab my ingredients I  I was gonna cook for lucnh and began cooking.

Half an hour passes, and I box up the lunch before heading off.

—— Time skip brought to you by Yuichiro's missing arm ——

I arrive at the Butterfly Mansion, and I enter the large door and step inside. I was greeted by Aoi, who looked at me with narrowed eyes.

"You don't look very injured.. why are you here Pillar-sama?" She asks, her blue eyes staring at mine.

"Kocho asked for me." I say politely, slightly bowing before walking to her office and gently knocking on the door three times.

There's a sound of someone clearing their throat before I'm greeted with faded purple hair and a forced smile.

"I see you came Tomioka." She says smiling even wider. "Of course." I simply answer, gosh she scares me. I guess she does in a friendly way for some reason.

I step inside as she steps aside and on her desk I see papers covered in red ink, the table with indents of slams and throws. There is glass on the floor which is broken, but I don't think she knows.

"What do you want me to do here?" I ask, unsure whether I should sit down or stay standing.

"Do you think that depending on how much wisteria I add the poison would be more potent?" Shinobu suddenly asks, a paper already in her hands. "I mean.. I guess? The more wisteria the better?" I say skeptically.

Shinobu shakes her head. "If I just add more wisteria nothing happens..." she says, angrily tearing up the paper before throwing it away.

I look at all the papers on her desk, and all the viles that contain purple liquid.

She writes something down silently, so I wonder how would making a potent poison for an uppermoon work?

A kunai flies beneath me as I jump down, it's from a fellow slayer. He's young and he doesn't seem to know what he's doing.
