Time skip...it had been about 3 days...? Time seemed to blur, and it was hard to determine the time, for the sky was always dark and misty. With Moon's ideas and guidance, you managed to control the tendrils behind you, making you pretty happy.
Thank you, Moon, you are the absolute best. These tendrils, it seemed, were a reflection of your emotions. When you were calm, they swayed lazily or remained still. The thought crossed your mind that if you were to become angry, the tendrils would likely respond aggressively, which hadn't happened yet.
You also learned how to teleport. Moon helped again since he knew how to do that before. The idea of teleportation had always been something you hoped to have when you were still a human. It would have been handy to have.
Moon advised that to teleport to a specific location, you needed to focus on that place; otherwise, you might end up in a random spot. Note...easier said than done...The teleportation process was still a bit unreliable. If you weren't careful, you might end up teleporting into a tree or even into the ground. It would be as if you were glitching out of bounds in a video game. Fortunately, that didn't happen...yet.

"Sooo..." you looked around as tendrils swayed calmly behind your back before sighing. "Ok, this place smells like hell. We need to go somewhere else," you deadpanned towards Moon, who nodded with a snicker. "Yes, it does smell horrible! We can leave for somewhere more secluded." You nodded as you decided to visit the village. Thankfully, there were fewer bodies here compared to the other areas. Upon reaching the town, you notice a library, making you feel intrigued to explore it. Stepping inside, you were welcomed by the dim lighting, pleasantly surprised to find that the library seemed relatively new. You wouldn't say you were a bookworm, but you do love yourself a considerable library.
Moon floated silently beside you, his gaze drifting from one corner of the room to another, "Me and Dream used to come here sometimes," he murmured. "I'd usually come alone, though." You felt sad for Moon as you looked around, sharing in Moon's reminiscence. "I wanna look around for a bit," you said, trying to lighten the mood. "Maybe grab a book!" You smiled, walking over to the shelves and examining the titles.
After spending about 15 minutes inside the library, you and Moon finally emerged. You wanted to find a book on magic. However, you were disappointed by the lack of magical books available. Your thoughts were interrupted when Moon suggested the forest would be a great place to continue your training, to which you agreed.
Over the next 2-4 days, Moon cheered you on as you experimented with different abilities. You didn't like how one of your eyes was covered with this goopy stuff, which made you only able to see out of one eye. That means there will be a blind spot in your vision...so you need to get used to that. You recalled that Corrupt's original powers allowed you to blend into the shadows, which you tried and accomplished. It felt like melting into the darkness...perhaps it wasn't as challenging to learn as you had thought.
"It will come in handy when we need to hide from someone, or perhaps even if we wanted to stalk someone!" Moon joked
"Sure, I might just follow someone around like a total creep!" You two shared a laugh.
If you recall your memories, you remember people saying that Corrupt had a weakness with water...? You aren't sure if it is entirely true, but if it rains here, you could try to check. Another thing you realized was that solid attacks couldn't hurt you. A day ago, a falling branch penetrated through one of your tendrils. You took no damage whatsoever, and that branch just got absorbed into the goop.
What the fuck...?
You suppose you didn't read that much into Nightmare's ability descriptions before.

Something else you remembered was that you could shapeshift! It had something to do with the goop on you that allowed you to shift into another being, which you were happy to try. After a lot of trial and error and with some encouragement from Moon, you were finally able to do something after about 2 hours. You first tried to transform into another Sans, just a normal Sans...However, when you tried to transform back into your human form, you couldn't do it. Every time you tried, the form would glitch out or not seen, and you would return to your previous state.
After a deep sigh of frustration, you muttered, "Oh, come on!" and made another attempt, only to be met with the same undesired outcome.
"It's alright! You can always try again later. Maybe you're just tired," Moon said with a reassuring smile.
You smiled at Moon. At least you aren't alone in this place...
