!!!Thank you so much for the votes and 250 reads!!! I added a bit more since it was just so short! Hope you enjoy :D

"Right, so the inside doesn't seem that bad, but the outside looks haunted," you mumbled as you navigated the castle's corridors. With its seven floors, you discovered rooms filled with old weapons, likely once used for training. Cobwebs hung thick, and junk lay scattered, evidence of neglect. Christ, how long had this been here? The contrast between the interior and the decay outside painted a vivid portrait of a cliche haunted house. Bruh.

"Well...it'd be hard to just 'fix it' on your own, though..." Moon said with a hint of worry. The space was enormous, with a grand library that seemed to have been plucked right from the movie Beauty and the Beast. It brought joy to Moon, though. Heh, bookworm.

"I remember I can summon some sort of shadow papyrus in this form. The problem is, I have zero idea how the hell I'm supposed to do that..." You return to the throne room, where a black throne sits in the center on top of a podium (or dais? I don't know;-; ). How gosh darn convenient.

(Hehe, blob.)

As you sat down on the floor, you couldn't help but notice how surprisingly cold the place was. Wrapping yourself up in your tendrils like they were blankets, you started contemplating how to summon another life. You're not going to lie, but the interior looked like it came straight from a fantasy movie.

You heard Moon chuckle, "Aww, you look so cute like that!" You scoffed in response.

"Come on, don't be a sour apple...cheer up! You'll figure it out, Y/n." Moon giggled, "It might be like shapeshifting or something....I'm not sure how this works."

"It would be nice if we had some assistance..." As you sighed and thought hard about their appearance, you flinched when a new voice unexpectedly spoke up beside you.

"You asked for help, your majesty?" It was a Papyrus! But he was dark, like a shadow. He had the appearance of an Underfell Papyrus...? (Are they supposed to be called shadow Papyri or Papyrus...? I need help :') )

Moon looked dumbfounded, and you kept a straight face. Did you- did you do that? Just by thinking too hard?

Oh wait- shit, he's still waiting-

You cleared your throat, "Uhm...no, not right now. You can wait and stand guard at the entrance of the castle for now." You ordered sedately.

"Will do, your highness..." The Papyrus smiled with a bow and walked away.

"Well, that worked..." you hummed, glancing at Moon, who nodded happily at your success. "Yeah, you were so cool!" He circled around in the air. From what you know of the shadow Papyruses(??), they always obey your commands without question.

Right...what did you do that summoned a Papyrus? You'll have to try again...fuuucckk.

******************

4 to 5 days had passed, and you somehow had an army of shadow Papyrus in the castle. Some were tasked with repairing and tidying up the castle, while others were sent out to gather resources from other areas. A few were assigned to stand guard and patrol the surroundings, ensuring safety and security.

To avoid being messed up by the many papyri, you used numbers to separate them. However, for your first shadow Papyri you summoned, you call him 1#, sure, but since he was the first, you wanted to name him something special. So you would call him P/n (You can choose whatever name you want!). He would be something like second in command.

"See? It worked out. What did I say?" Moon smiled as you two sat in the castle's library. You nodded and buried yourself in the books, reading what information you could find.

"Thanks, Moon...Don't know what I would do without you." You smiled before putting the book down. What now? Recruit Killer, Cross, Murder, and Horror? Is it the right time yet?

You would probably have to wait a few years and explore this Multiverse yourself before getting the crew. Plus, you could feel the nagging positivity in the Multiverse getting strong. Right, you still have a 'job'...With a heavy sigh, you rose from your seat as your tentacle-like appendages meticulously returned the books to their rightful places on the shelves.

"Y/n, what's wrong? Are you alright?" Moon looked at you worriedly. "Yeah, I'm fine. We do need to start spreading negativity soon." You replied. Moon followed you and smiled nervously. "Already? But...we have to harm someone, no?" You guessed Moon would protest, but you didn't have a choice in this.

"I know...we probably will have to. We at the very least need to keep things neutral for the first few years ourselves before recruiting the crew." You said as you opened the library door and walked out to the halls. You were mainly going to do this for the balance, but also partially due to the positivity getting quite annoying for you

However, some physical action does sound ok. It's been a little boring these few months. Though bloodshed might be a tad too much...thankfully, you liked true crime when you were still human, so it would bother you just a little less.

'You can stay in the midscape, right?' You asked Moon in your thoughts. 'If you don't feel all that comfortable, you could stay there! Unfortunatly for me, that wouldn't be possible...' You mentally groaned. Moon snickered pitifully but nodded anyway.

You sighed. "P/n!" Within a second, he appeared in front of you with a bow. "Yes, your majesty?"

"I will be leaving for an extended period of time-perhaps a few years. Therefore, I am entrusting you with the responsibility of watching over the castle. It is also improtant that some of you train for fighting. Do you understand?" You ordered with narrowed eyes. He nodded quickly in response. "Absolutely! I assure you, your highness, that I will do everything in my power to meet and exceed your expectations." You hummed with satisfaction and teleported to the castle entrance. You walked out and looked around before disappearing into the woods.

"Will it be like an adventure?" Moon smiled at you as you figured out a plan. "A long one...but sure, it'll be like an adventure." You smiled and extended one of your tendrils, effortlessly piercing the sturdy tree trunk for a test, leaving behind a sizable gap where you had hit. "That's...kinda scary..." Moon looked at the tree nervously, to which you laughed lightly.

"I'll try to see the positive side of it...despite being a negative being-" You hummed and opened a portal.
