After a long chat with Mr Tonks, he had prepared delicious butter toast for her. Despite the place being relatively simple, Andromeda was more than delighted to have found a loving household. She started eating. "Ted!" she laughed. "Oh, you sleepyhead! Come down!" "Oi!" he replied. "You woke me up last night!" "Well, I hardly got any sleep, too!" He just laughed, brightly. "Good morning, dad. Thanks for the breakfast!" Andromeda gasped. She had forgotten to say thank you. "Thanks, Mr Tonks," she said, politely.

After breakfast, Andromeda went to the living room, where she had left her small ginger owl, Willow. She was flying over, hooting loudly, holding a white parchment. Andromeda tore it open, wondering who it could be from.

Dear Andie,

How are you? It's me, Cissy! I just wanted to let you know that I'm extremely sorry for shouting at you yesterday. I was just in a bad mood and was shocked about your choices, but you do have a point, too. Unfortunately, our parents have blasted your name off the Black family tapestry, but I believe that doesn't matter to you anyways. Where are you now? I hope you're doing good. I heard about your encounter with the Dark Lord, too. If you need anything, just write back to me!

Oh, and by the way, Sirius also sent you a few Galleons that I hope you would find useful. It is in the parchment together with my letter.

Love,

Cissy

Andromeda felt glad that not everyone had completely forgotten about her. But did her sister really mean what she said? Andromeda looked at the message again. She did, all right. She grabbed her quill and started writing.

"Who's that?" Ted asked, as he ran to the living room. "My sister," Andromeda replied. "I'm so glad she hasn't forgotten about me." "Narcissa?" Ted asked. Andromeda nodded. "Yeah. I'm going to write back now. I still haven't thought of a name for my daughter, though." She was wracking her brains. What was she going to name her? She had no idea. "Maybe wait till she's born first," said Andromeda, absent-mindedly. "Then we'll decide." She just wanted to focus writing back to Narcissa.

Dear Cissy,

I'm so glad you haven't forgotten about me! I haven't thought of a name for my daughter, yet. Do you have any ideas?

How are you and Lucius doing? Also please help me thank Sirius for the money.

Love,

Andie

Andromeda passed the piece of parchment to Willow. Willow flew off, looking rather energetic.

Andromeda started getting used to Ted's way of living. She learned that they were considered below the poverty line in the Muggle world, especially after Ted's mother passed away, as the father was middle-aged but frail and had major health problems. He had quit his job a few months ago due to health concerns, and now there wasn't anyone bringing in income for the family. Ted mentioned that he would do part-time work in the Wizarding World and convert it to Muggle money to help his father, as his savings were all he had.

Before she knew it, Willow had come back with Narcissa's reply. Willow no longer looked energetic and instead looked a little tired due to many hours of flying to and fro. 12, Grimmauld Place and Ted's house were actually a few hours away but as Andromeda could disapparate, that wasn't a problem.

Dear Andie,

I thanked Sirius already! You could actually write directly to him. He said that you could keep the money and you don't have to return any.

Also, we need to make sure not to tell anyone that we're keeping in contact. My mother told me I'm strictly not allowed to come and see you. If I do, I would meet the same fate, according to her. Especially not Bella. Please let me know when you've picked out a name for your daughter.
