A few days later, Andromeda had fully recovered from the birth. It was a chilly and crisp morning. Willow flew in, with another piece of parchment.

"Oh, it's from Cissy!" said Andromeda, excitedly. She looked around. Ted and Mr Tonks were still sleeping. There was no one else there. Quietly, she tore open the parchment and read the letter.

Dear Andie,

I heard from my classmate that your daughter was just born, and she's called Nymphadora! Nice name, by the way! I'm sure she'll love it. And wow, I also heard that she's a Metamorphmagus! That's wonderful. The chance is almost 1 in a million. Congratulations, Andie! Lucius and I are doing well, too! He seems to like me more now.

I overheard Bella talking to our mum. She said something about the Dark Lord knowing where you are now and he's planning to kidnap you. Please be careful. If anything, do let me know.

Sent Sirius your thanks, too! He said that if you need anymore money, just let him know. I can deliver the letter directly to him without mom finding out.

Sorry, I'll have to pen off now. Mom's coming. Bye!

Andromeda gasped. So the Dark Lord hadn't forgotten about her. He was really going to come and kidnap her. She ran upstairs to her room. She banged on the door. "What," said Ted, grumpily, as he slowly stretched his arms. "Why do you have to wake me up so early?" "Ted, You-Know-Who is going to kidnap me!" Andromeda cried. "My sister told me! She said she overheard a conversation that You-Know-Who plans to kidnap me for not turning up and showing him that I could do the Unforgivable Curses." Ted grunted. "Really? You should take that with a grain of salt. Not everything she says is true."

"Ted!" Andromeda slapped him, lightly. "Wake up! This is serious business! My sister would never make up something like this. We've got to hide, Ted..." Ted jerked awake from his sleepy state at last.

"But where shall we hide?" he asked. "We can't leave my father alone. Otherwise, he might get kidnapped instead of us. You don't want that to happen, do you?" Andromeda thought for a moment. "We will have to bring him along, too." "But what will he say?" Ted asked. "He's a Muggle, and he has no idea what's going on."

"We'll just have to make him trust us," said Andromeda. She ran downstairs. "Any camping gear?" Ted nodded. "Yes. Under the stairs. Go get it." Andromeda rushed down the stairs. She was in panic. The Dark Lord was no fool. What if he found them anyway? She hoped not. "At least we should try to hide," she thought. "Instead of just accepting defeat." She flicked her wand and placed an extendable charm on her bag, putting all the camping gear inside.

"We're good to go, Ted," she said, at last. "Just need to convince your father to come with us." Andromeda rushed to the kitchen, where Mr Tonks was preparing breakfast. "Good morning, Mr Tonks," she said, politely. "It's difficult to explain, but I believe that you have heard of the Dark Wizard, right? You know... My sister informed me that he has a plan to kidnap all of us. We need to hide somewhere. We'll be bringing you along. Are you okay with that? We're worried that you will be killed if we leave you here."

"Why us, of all the people?" Mr Tonks asked, suddenly. "Oh, it's a long story," replied Andromeda. "Sorry, but we've got to leave as soon as possible." Mr Tonks was worried, too. He immediately unlocked his car and rushed them all in. "I know a very secret hill," he said. "Ted, my wife and I used to go camping when he was little. Come!" He drove off at full speed, and all the passing vehicles were just a blur.

Ted started feeling sleepy and was soon dozing off, but Andromeda was wide awake, holding Nymphadora in her arms. She had never been more worried in her life. Why was the Dark Lord so bothered with her? He could go for more meaningful things. Maybe he just enjoyed killing, as the rumours said. Ted slumped over Andromeda's shoulder. It had been several hours, but Andromeda didn't get a single second of rest.
