The night of the battle at the Department of Mysteries was one that Harry would never forget. The confrontation with Voldemort's followers, the loss of Sirius Black, and the realization of the true scope of the war left a lasting impact on him.
Cassiopeia's presence during the battle added another layer of complexity. Harry saw fierce determination in her eyes as they fought side by side. She was willing to risk everything to protect him and their friends.
During the chaos of the battle, Harry and Cassiopeia found themselves cornered by Lucius Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange. Cassiopeia's father and aunt were relentless, their attacks vicious and unyielding.
"Stand down, Cassiopeia," Lucius commanded, his voice cold and authoritative.
Cassiopeia shook her head, her wand held steady. "No, Father. I won't let you hurt Harry."
Bellatrix's laughter echoed through the room. "You're a fool, girl. You think you can defy us?"
Harry's heart pounded as he faced off against Lucius, casting spell after spell to defend himself. He could see the conflict in Cassiopeia's eyes, torn between her loyalty to her family and her love for Harry.
In a moment of desperation, Bellatrix cast a powerful curse, aimed directly at Harry. Cassiopeia stepped in front of him, taking the full force of the spell. She crumpled to the ground, unconscious.
"No!" Harry screamed, his anger and grief fueling his magic. He cast a powerful Stupefy at Bellatrix, knocking her back.
As the battle raged on, Harry fought with a renewed sense of determination. He couldn't lose Cassiopeia. He wouldn't.
When the battle finally ended and the Death Eaters retreated, Harry rushed to Cassiopeia's side. He cradled her in his arms, his heart aching with fear and worry.
"Cassiopeia, please wake up," he whispered, his voice trembling.
To his immense relief, Cassiopeia stirred, her eyes fluttering open. "Harry?"
Harry's eyes filled with tears. "You're okay. You're going to be okay."
Cassiopeia reached up and touched his face, her expression filled with love. "I'm sorry, Harry. I couldn't let them hurt you."
Harry held her close, vowing to protect her with everything he had. They had survived this battle, but the war was far from over. Together, they would face whatever challenges lay ahead.
