I have no idea what going on...why am I here if the prince doesn't agree to this marriage...am I nothing more than just a means to extend our kingdom. Thoughts crowded my mind quickly. I never wanted this,my dreams weren't even close to what this was.
Am I not enough? Can I not run the kingdom on my own?

I sighed as I realised that I'm fated to spend the rest of my life in a room as the princess of Valoria.

I really don't know what to do, I've never talked to father about anything. The wedding can't be called of either since both kingdoms already announced the visits.
Wait,its just necessary to have a wedding between the kingdoms. It's doesn't matter who gets married.
Leehan's pov
I felt bad for mia. She agreed to all of this for her parents' sake and now she's being turned down. Although we didn't talk much, I can see it in her eyes,the pressure she's under. If only I could help...

I couldn't help but smile at the girl in front of me who admired the flowers in garden and roamed around joyfully as if she finally felt free.

I turned around to see Jaehyun signaling me to go to him.

She smiled and nodded as I walked away.

Jake's pov
I don't know why I told him,I've thought about this for an hour lying in my room. Maybe it's because this was too much to take by myself or maybe because I trust leehan so much. I thought as I walked outside the Palace, through the forest . I was heading to meet Sieun. She knew how to handle things more maturely.
Thanks to madam Ju I was able to sneak out even on important occasions such as today.
I smiled upon seeing a pretty girl standing at a near distance.
She wore a white plain dress,her hair was tied into a lose bun. Her rosy cheeks and Hazel eyes made her look straight out of a fairytale. That was my girl,my Sieun.
Sieun hugged me as soon as I was close enough. She sang to me in her melodious voice,as I closed my eyes and relaxed my head on her shoulder. After a moment of peaceful thinking, I made a decision.
Sieun,meet me here tomorrow morning, if I have to choose between living the life of a king or living as your man, I'll choose you.
She tried to convince me to find another way,saying that this wouldn't end well but I didn't care. I had made up my mind. I could live as a commoner and be happy for once, couldn't I?
Mia's pov
*Flashback*
I ended up hearing what Jaehyun said. I'm just a burden here as well. I ended up existing the Palace and going to the river I saw on my way here while trying to compose myself. I realised that I had lost my way.
This can't possibly get any worse...

A girl with a pretty voice spoke from behind me. I turned around as we both chuckled .
You don't seem from around,did you get lost?
Yeah..I was at the Palace and I don't know how I ended here..
Ah...w-well just go left from here and straight through the path you'll see...that'll take you to the Palace gate.

After following the directions ,I saw the path she had mentioned, half way through the path I heard a familiar voice.
Mia! There you are.
Leehan ran towards me and checked up on me.
Are you okay?
I'm fine.
I backed away slightly.
I can't force myself on this boy as well,first my parents, then Jake,nobody wants me to be there. I can't ruin his life..
The walk back to the Palace was quiet and Leehan guided me towards my room,once we came back.
