I woke up while bawling my eyes out. Everything felt like a deja vu.
Once again it was 4th of July. The day which now haunted me.
I really don't know what's reality anymore, but what I do know it that it feels like hell to lose the person I love, over and over again.
Is this a loop? Even so, why am I the only one stuck in time?
On top of everything, how am I supposed to save Sieun?
I rushed to the desk near the window and ripped the letter I had written.
I was about to rush to Sieun when it occurred to me... what if we're not meant to be together? What if the best thing I can do to protect her is to do nothing?

I sent out a letter to Sieun through Madam Ju so that she wouldn't wait for me.
It's just one day right? Things will go back to being as they were after this... this wouldn't be something worse, would it?
All sorts of thoughts occupied my once vacant mind.
First, I left home to find happiness but I lost my happiness. The second time, I changed my plan for Sieun's sake but she left me.. this made no sense.
Unless...what if this was karma for my actions?
I wanted to be happy but didn't think twice before leaving, I was in pain when I post Sieun but I took my life without thinking what my family, especially my brother will go through...no I'm just overthinking it... this can't be.
I saw my dad's court advisor coming towards me

Mia looked nervous and she had an expression on her face which seemed like she had given up on hope. I thought of what Jaehyun hyung had said yesterday about me marrying Mia, could he have been serious?
Suddenly the door opened and the advisor walked in, followed by hyung. There was an environment of constant stress in the courtroom.
I looked at Mia as our eyes locked, the way I just wanna let her know that I'm here for her.
Jake's pov
I took a seat next to father. It seemed like most had already been discussed, all that was left was to get my approval or rather force a decision on me.
Jaehyun, I'd like for you and Mia to get married towards the end of the month. Take this time to get to know each other better, meanwhile arrangements for the wedding shall be made.
Father, I-
Do you have any objections?
All the voices suddenly became inaudible to me as a noticed a familiar figure in the crowd. A peculiar figure with the same height and dressing as the person who killed me.
He found me staring at him and left the room, I ignored all the people calling me and ran after him.
