Chapter 4

Jake's pov

6:00 am

I wake up gasping for breath.Tears ran down my cheeks.

I quickly look around my room and then at my wrists that I had cut open. Was it all a dream? No it couldn't have been..everything felt so real.

Did they find me and saved me? How long have I been lying here for?

Maybe this is just a dream..?

I got up while trying to organize my thoughts and leave my room.

I ran to Madam Ju as soon as I saw her.

What date it is? How long was I asleep?

It's the 4th of June and you just slept few hours..Is something wrong?

What? Wasn't that yesterday?

Did you get too immersed in a dream or something ,Young master?

She smiled while assuring me

It's certainly the 4th of July, sometimes we can't tell apart dreams from reality..don't worry about it too much.

But...I'll keep that in mind..thank you.

I leave the Palace while thinking over how real the pain felt. However,I need to see if Sieun is okay before figuring out anything else.

I reached the place where we were supposed to meet in in order to leave, tears formed in my eyes as soon as I saw the pretty girl standing next to a tree.

I ran and hugged her without saying anything . She looked worriedly at me.

Jake..are you okay?

Y-yeah..I just had a nightmare..

I thought for a while ,even though it was just a nightmare,I can't bare reliving that moment.

Sieun.

Hm?

I put some thought to what you said...and you're right,we shouldn't leave.

I'm glad you thought about things with a calm mind.

Little did she know,how far I was from being calm.

I decided to spend some time with Sieun and clear my thoughts.

Mia's pov

The kingdom was a mess,guards went out to search right after they found Jaehyun's note. It hasn't even been an hour since then but everyone is panicking. My parents are afraid of having to take me back, his are afraid to lose face infront of their people.

Nobody tried to look for me even once but honestly I'm glad,because it feels better to be with-

Mia,are you there? Do you feel any better now?

I came back to reality and lifted my head from Leehan's shoulder. I looked at him as we both sat next to each other on the path among the flowers.
