There was the option to accept Lorelai's offer to join PARENTS's superpowered youth training program, of course, but that meant giving away your secrets to a shady intergovernmental agency, not to mention letting the rich and the powerful tell you who the bad guys are.
"The Omega Responders trained us to be heroes for everyone, not soldiers for the military-industrial complex," Flit had said to the acting director of the superpower regulatory agency the last time you were all together, after the catastrophic report of the Omega Responders' last mission came through.
"You won't last long out there by yourselves," Lorelai answered, with the undertone of a threat.
