"Two hearts just fallin' in and out of love for something new"
I owe it to her. Unintentional or not, her waiting for me yesterday morning sparked my new found act of chivalry. She seemed to be taking her time coming up the stairs, bloody girls.
Right as I'm away to start ripping my hair out I see her. Based on her crumpled uniform and what can only be described as a rats nest on her head, she probably just woke up. Girls.
The shocked expression on her face makes me internally cringe. If we are to be "dating" she will need to calm any negative facial expressions for good.
"Oh Weasley, hi!" Her confusion carries across to her voice, Godric, she's really trying to make this difficult.
"Wipe that confusion from your attitude, that's what makes it unbelievable you ninny," I actually scold her.
She has the decency to look sheepish at least, a light tinge to her cheeks. Is there ever a situation where she isn't blushing?
"I'm sorry, I'm really tired. Only woke up about 10 minutes ago," she admits. Knew it.
"Well let's get a move on, I'd hate to miss breakfast again. Yesterday I was starving the entire day since we also missed lunch," As I start my complaints I also begin a leisurely stroll heading out of the common room.
"It's hardly my fault you kept giving highly inappropriate innuendos that delayed us," she countered.
"No it's because someone took forever even making a decision," I argued.
That wasn't entirely true but she didn't need to know that. But based on her glare that she sent my way she may have already come to that conclusion.
I have a feeling us walking into the Great Hall together could turn into a pattern. I really hope it sticks for our sake.
I wave her goodbye as she makes her way to her table of blue - my little honorary Ravenclaw.
Sitting in between Fred and Lee, 0.1 second later I am being bombarded with questions about this potential pattern. Good.
"Why is this the second time you're walking in with that girl?" "And why haven't I, your twin, not heard anything about it?"
I fought to keep the grin off my face, this could work. It would work. "Her name is Flora Hollows. We were just talking," the reason I'm keeping it vague is because I know they will keep pestering me for details.
"Oh I know who she is, had a small talk with her yesterday. When she was looking for you and then miraculously yous walked in to breakfast together," Fred gave his own grin. Idiot.
Lee chimed in again, "Coincidence, I think not."
"Me either dear friend. So, Georgie, spill," Fred gave me the sort of look which meant he knew I was trapped and I had to talk.
"Hang on, I thought she was Gryffindor. Why is she sitting with another house?" Alicia piped up this time.
I guess both the girls were listening in because Angelina spoke next. As she did I kept my eyes trained on her for probably longer than I should have.
" She is, she's dormed with me. Except she has no friends at all which is why she's always over there, with her actual friends." Angelina explained.
"How can you be living with people for 6 years and never make any friends?" Alicia then countered.
