"I know I'd let you in on all my bad decisions"

I was sitting cross-legged upon the counter, feeling much more at home than I had in weeks. Us girls hadn't gotten a chance to hang out together like we used to since George and I met.

That's why we planned our kitchen visit a full week in advance. As Thea put it, "Not letting stupid boys ruin our girlhood". I'd hardly call sneaking to the kitchens after curfew 'girlhood'.

Willow was preoccupied chatting to the house elves about something with Hermione Granger. We barely managed to convince her to come. A miracle her presence was.

Then Thea was on the counter opposite me, stocking up on brownies.

And Ginny peacefully sat in conversation with Blip, a house elf, about which treats we'd be taking away. "Hey, Gin? Add blueberry muffins to that list." An essential.

She nods and repeats it back to the elf, he disappears with a snap of his fingers. Elf magic is so underrated.

I don't have one at home, seeing as I live in muggle Scotland. None of us do actually, humbly raised, each one.

A misconception about Thea is that since she's a pureblood she has this massive estate but she lives in a flat in muggle London. Her dad never remarried after her mum died and wanted as far away from magic as possible. I see where he's coming from.

Willow lives with just her mum so obviously we have imagined for years about what it would be like for their parents to get together. Our biggest complaint as a friend group is not being somehow related. I decide to attempt what our younger selves couldn't.

"Willow! When will your mum finally accept that Thea's dad is hot?"

She looks up, sending daggers at me. I mean, her dad is hot. And Willow just shrugged, going back to her lengthy conversation with Hermione.

"Please stop saying my dad is hot!" Thea says through a mouthful of chocolate.

"Fine, I'll stop saying it,"

"Stop thinking it!" she laughs.

I throw my hands up in exasperation, "What do you want me to do?"

"Not find my dad hot!"

Ginny laughs with the two of us, "Please Flo, tell me exactly what her dad looks like." I love her.

Thea whines the entire time I explain to Ginny, laughter getting in both our ways. I feel victorious when Ginny nods in agreement. Thea hid her face behind her hands. Grumbling about being mortified.

"Gin, what about your dad? I've seen him on the platform," Thea turns the attention to Ginny, giving a small smirk.

"More like what about her brothers!" I add helpfully.

Ginny doesn't appreciate it and promptly starts gagging. "That is sickening!"

"Oh, cmon yous were just on about my dad. It's only fair."

"Speaking of though, are you and my brother dating yet?" She directs that question to me.

I scramble for a response. Of course we aren't but it did make me wonder when we would be. We've been doing this back and forth for about a month now.

"Aw you don't know?" Thea is empathetic.

"Well, I assume he'll ask me soon. I- I want him to." I mask my face into a sheepish expression. Bending my head and allowing the blush to creep in this time.
