Percy met Tyson the following schoolyear and still got no clue about the nightlife of her family, other than seeing Dick pretty tired every now and then.
In her free time Percy convinced Dick to teach her how to use a Trapeze, and sometimes for fun, they both created a little show which they showed Alfred and Bruce afterwards knowing that the two men 'secretly' film them.
A week before summer break, Percy asked Bruce a question she thought very much about over the last few months. She really needed to train fighting, real fighting, not the things they showed in self-defense class, but was uncertain on how Bruce would react if she asked to go.
Finally gathering her courage, she entered the study, where he worked on something WE related. Without waiting for him to greet her, she began.
"Hey Dad, we haven't talked about it in a while, but could I go to C's camp this summer?"
Bruce looked at her with calculating eyes. He didn't like the idea of Percy disappearing off the grid for most of the break.
On the other side he could train Dick more efficiently that way without having to worry about Percy accidentally discovering their secret or feeling left out.
After a long pause and her baby seal eyes, he sighed deeply with a slight nod.
"Okay Percy, but be safe, no kidnappings this year. I want you to be back at least two days before your birthday. I don't care if your camp is still going on then, birthdays are something you celebrate with your family."
Percy knew that she could come with all the technicalities of all the kids being her family. They were if you look into the details, though everyone avoids it most of the time, not wanting to think about the twisted, and sickening, relationships within their family tree.
So, as long as you don't have the same godly parent, you aren't related, unless you consider each other as such.
That was rule number one in the camper guidebook.
No one knows who created it, but each cabin had one and all were magically connected, so that if one writes in one, it shows in all the others too.
Sometimes the counselors meet outside of the meetings Chiron arranges and discuss some of the old and possible new rules.
A rule that got added after Percy came back from her quest last year was that nobody should insult blue food, it will end with the person being chained in the middle of Long island bay with sharks circling them for one night.
(Don't ask who provoked her enough for this to happen, Percy will get angry, and everyone else pale and shudder for the remainder of the day, only thinking about it.)
The guidebook was the one thing all campers knew about that kept a secret between the campers.
Rule number two was that anyone that tells Chiron anything about it, will receive a punishment decided in a whole camper gathering.
Back at the manor mentally now, Percy smile brightly at Bruce, hugging him tightly.
"Will do, thanks dad!"
The next week was ordinary, nothing special at all for anyone, until Percy ran away from her school after the gym blew up in a rouge attack.
This time the Wayne's didn't worry as much as last year as Percy disappeared, because they knew where she was. But none the less, Bruce made a note to talk to Percy about this.
He knew this wasn't the first time she lived through a rouge attack, and she knew that she should wait and give her statement to the police, so why didn't she do so?
