Chapter 1 : The Meeting

Sanemi POV

I woke up, and thought 'ugh... Today is... The Hashira meeting? When is it starting...'

"CAW CAW HASHIRA MEETING IN 5 MINUTES CAW CAW!!!" screamed Sorai, my crow, in my ear. "Stop being so loud, I just woke up- WAIT. 5 FUCKING MINUTES!?!? SHIT, I HAVE TO BE FAST!!"

I standed up fast, and changed my clothes. I took my Katana, and ran with the fastest speed I could. When I ran, i ran into someone.
"OI, GET OUT OF MY WAY-"

I saw someone familiar. A haori with 2 patterns... Black hair... And... It was Tomioka.

"Oi, dipshit, answer me." He said nothing. I was getting annoyed, so I kicked him. "If you weren't such  an Arrogant Asshole, I wouldn't have kicked you!"

Again, he said nothing. I was getting late myself, so I ran to the HQ of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Pew... Man, I got only a bit late and Oyakata-sama isn't here yet.

Well, Oyakata-sama's gonna come at some point, so I'll just talk to Iguro.

"Hey, Hebi!" I greeted Iguro.
Iguro replied "Stfu, I said you aren't allowed to call me that dumbass"

"Hey, Iguro! That's not very Nice!" A Sweet, but high voice. It was Mitsuri! "Hey, Tsuri!" I greeted Mitsuri.

"Hi Nemi! Do you wanna eat fish after the meeting? I have no Missions Today!" She asked, of course, I said yes. "Lemme me make something clear, since WHEN did you and Kanroji become close!?" Iguro hissed.

"Oh come on, we are like brother and sister! He's very, very kind!"
Mitsuri said.

"Look, the loser has arrived!" I yelled and pointed at Tomioka.
"He's always been arrogant, from the day I met him, 'til now!"

I heard the Ubayashiki Siblings say in Unison "The Master of the mansion has arrived." I quickly ran to the spot where I am always, and bowed down to him.

He "saw" us, and said "Good morning my children."
I quickly greeted him with a "Good morning Oyakata-sama. I'm glad to see you in good health."

"Thank you, Sanemi my Child.
How have been all your missions, my Children?"

Everyone reported their missions, and the meeting was almost over.

"Goodbye Oyakata-sama. Be in good health", Himejima said. "Goodbye my children, but, Sanemi, Giyuu. Please stay for another Moment."

Tomioka and I looked at each other for a moment, then goed back to Oyakata-sama.

"What do you need us for, Oyakata-sama?" I asked, curiously.

"I know you two are not the best of friends, but I need both of you to go on a Mission. In the Yawakuhaifu City near the north of the big forest. There have been Missing men, from the age of 18 til 25. It seems like a strong demon, because just in one week, there have been missing over 100 men. Many of the wife's are helpless now, so please make an end to it."

'I am speechless. I do not know why. Is it because it was a very strong demon, or was it because... I was going with... Tomioka?...' I could feel my face turn into a light shape of red. I turned my head around, so that nobody could see my face.

"So do you two agree on going to the mission?"

... Awkward silence was filling the room. Tomioka said the words... "Yes, I agree."

In the end, I couldn't stop but say...
"I'll go with him, it's ok."
