Spiritual Awakening [Shoto Todoroki x OC]

Yurei slowly woke up, looking around and seeing that she was in a recovery room. She quickly sat up, wondering what all had happened after she passed out. Then she saw Shoto next to her, him being asleep in a chair by her, Recovery girl came over to her and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"You idiot girl, you had gone way over your limits!" Recovery girl said.

"My bad recovery girl" Yurei said sheepishly.

"You had broken a few ribs and got many cuts, your done with recovery, but you should take it easy for the next day, Also this boy has stayed with you the whole day, you might wanna thank him" RG said as she walked off.

Yureis eyes were a bit wide as she looked over at Shoto, smiling a little bit, an unfamilar feeling popping up in her stomach, when she looked at him.

"Shotoooo" Yurei said as she poked him awake.

Shoto woke up almost instantly, and looked over at her. His eyes wide before they shrunk once he noticed she was awake and fine. Yurei then felt his hand hit her over her head.

"Ow!, why would you do that" Yurei said as she held her head.

"Stupid, you almost got yourself killed" Shoto said looking at her dead in the eyes.

"EH!, Im sorry sho, I didn't mean to worry you so much" Yurei said, smiling at Shoto.

Yurei had gotten her actual clothes on and grabbed her stuff, as her and Shoto were walking out of the recovery room and building.

"Shoto why don't you ever use your right side" Yurei asked, looking ahead. Shoto had offered to walk her back home. Yurei in no position to argue with Shoto.

"My old man, wants me to pass All might, and become the number one hero, he wants me to use my fire side. I won't listen to him and do it not after what he did to my mother and me, I only use my mothers quirk" Shoto said, his tone wavering a tad bit.

"Don't you think its your quirk though, you got it from your dad, but its your quirk, not your dads quirk, YOUR quirk" Yurei said, making Shoto look over at her, shocked she would say that. She didn't push any further on the topic.

"how are you so sure Yurei..." Shoto thought.

"At least were similar, we both hate our dads" Yurei said, smirking a bit.

"What do you mean?" Shoto asked, looking ahead blankly.

"My dad left me and my mother when I was 4, he thought I wasn't going to be good enough for my quirk, that I will be a let down. To this day I have no clue if he is alive or dead, all I know is if I see him, he'll be dead in minutes." Yurei said, which caused Shoto to look at her with wide eyes.

Yurei turned down her street and saw her house, her mother waiting outside for her dear daughter. Shoto saw the women, she had black hair and purple eyes, and was pretty tall. She wore comfortable clothes as she ran over to Yurei.
