Yurei was leaning against a wall in the room that the rest of her class was in. Yurei was in her PE clothes just as the rest of the class was so it would be fair. Yurei had her eyes closed as she listened to other conversations.
"Midoriya.." Shoto said, now in front of him.
"Todoroki? what is it?" Midoriya asked looking over at him. Gaining the attention of the class.
"Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you..." Shoto started which made Yurei quietly laugh at his bluntness.
"Y-Yeah..." Midoriya said, quite nervous.
"But all might has his eye on you, doesn't he? Im not trying to pry about that. But Im going to beat you. " Shoto said, Yurei opened one eye and looked over at the two.
"Oh?, is the best in the class making a declaration of war?" Denki said.
"Hey,hey,hey! why are you picking a fight all of a sudden?" Kiri asked, putting his hand on shotos shoulder.
"We're not here to play at being friends. So what does it matter?" Shoto said before walking over to where Yurei was, who looked at him with a bit of hurt in her eyes.
"Todoroki, I don't know what you're thinking when you say you'll beat me, but of course your better than me. I think your more capable than most people... "Midoriya started to say, but Yurei had zoned out, already in her own thoughts.
Yurei respected Midoriya a lot as a classmate and hoped to become friends with him as well.
"Does he not like me as a friend. Am I to annoying, what do I do now..." Yurei thought before she was brought out of her thoughts when ochaco put her hand on her shoulder.
Yurei looked over at her, before realizing the sympathetic look Ochaco was giving her. Yurei was going to say something but her attention was brought to where everyone was walking. They had walked out onto the field, Yurei looked at the audience, narrowing her eyes.

"Oh this year's chief umpire for the first years is the R-R rated hero, midnight?" Present mic said, causing the crowed to get riled up and the male students. Yurei just waited for her to start talking.
"Representing the students is Katsuki Bakugo from Class 1-A" Midnight said. Making Yurei raise an eyebrow.
"He's totally gonna say something wrong..." Yurei muttered as she stood by Mina and Ochaco who quietly giggled at her remark.
"I just wanna say, Im gonna be number one" Bakugo said, making the hero class freak out in embarrassment. Yurei only burst out into laughter, the other classes booing bakugo.
"Why are you doing something so disgraceful?!" Lida yelled.
"At least become a nice bouncy step for me to jump off of." Bakugo stated.
