Spiritual Awakening [Shoto Todoroki x OC]

After the festival the classes were given a day off from all of there hard work. Class 1-A decided to have a fun day where they all watch a movie together.

"Horror, comedy, romance, come on people think!" Yurei said, holding the Tv remote as she browsed through a bunch of movies.

"What if we do horror?" Mina asked, thinking it was a great idea to do that.

"wait bu-"

"Horror it is, Mina im trusting you to pick out the best one. Im going to head out to the store and grab us some snacks for everyone! Send me your guys requests!" Yurei said, before putting on her converse and rushing out the door.

"Yurei!" she heard a voice call out from behind her.

"Hey shoto, whats up?" Yurei asked, turning around to look at him.

"Im coming with you" Shoto said now walking beside her.

"Oh, okay!" Yurei said, smiling brightly.

As the two made it to the store, Yurei pulled out her phone seeing the class sent a bunch of requests in the GC. She narrowed her eyes at the texts, grabbing a basket to carry all the items.

"Shoto im sending you half of the list, so we can get it done faster!" Yurei said, sending half of the list to him.

"Okay, meet back here once were done" Shoto said, before walking off.

Yurei walked down one of the aisles grabbing some of the candys that the class wanted, as well as drinks.

"now where are the mochis?" Yurei muttered to herself as she looked through the many different flavors of mochis.

Yurei crouched down grabbing the mango ones, as well as some strawberry ones. Just as she got up she saw someone pace back and forth through the aisle she was in.

Getting creeped out she walked out of the aisle and into a different one to grab a request made by Aoyama. Which it of course was cheese.

She felt a presence come over to her once again, she just grabbed what she needed and left the aisle once again, trying to find shoto as she finished.

As she hurried over to the spot where they were gonna meet up she felt a hand grab her wrist, out of defense her arm started to burn up a bit with her fire.

"Hey young lady, do as I say or I blow your brains out right now" The man said in a low whisper, she felt something cold press up against her head. Yurei quietly sighed as she nodded.

"Good, now I want you to walk over to the atm and get me all the cash you can get now" The man whispered, motioning over to the ATM that was in the store.

Just as Yurei walked forward a few steps, she swiftly turned her body and grabbed the mans arm that was holding onto the gun, her fire activated and she burned him, causing him to cry out in pain and drop the gun.

Suddenly he had guns appear all around his body, as if they were in his skin. Yurei grimaced at the sight, glancing behind her she saw no one. Just as she was about to use her quirk on the man she saw ice cover the man, trapping him.

"Yurei are you okay?!" Shoto asked, running over to her.

"Yeah im fine, are the heroes on there way?" Yurei asked, looking at shoto.

"Yeah there a few minutes out" Shoto said, standing beside her now.

"Good, Im gonna have to cover up this ice then with my fire, so you don't get in trouble..." Yurei said, before shoto could say anything she melted the completely and before the gun man could even do anything there was wires wrapped around his whole body, covering everything expect his nose so he had a bit of air.

"Lets go pay for this stuff now" Yurei said, grabbing the basket, and walking over to the register where the employees looked at her with dotted eyes.

In the end the heroes thanked Yurei for helping. The employees let Yurei take the stuff for free. Once she made it back to the dorms and handed out everyones stuff with shotos help.

She saw Bakugo helping with dinner with some of her other classmates, she saw the movie set up on the Tv, and saw that a lot of her classmates were setting up a bunch of blankets and pillows around.

After a few minutes of finishing everything up, everyone sat down in a spot, Yurei sat beside shoto of course, she was eating some of her mochis while watching the movies. She quietly laughed whenever she heard some of her classmates yell or scream at a scary part.

Shoto felt something rest against his shoulder and he saw that Yurei had fallen asleep and was leaning against shoto. Shoto was actually very comfortable in his spot as he wrapped an arm around Yureis shoulder.

Sleep over taking him as well. Mina and some of the other girls took a picture of the two, going to use it as blackmail later.

November was nearing its end, and Yurei was called to a different room by Aizawa. As she walked into the room she saw the other work study students minus tokoyami, and Eri sitting on the couch.

"Whats eri doing here?" Yurei asked, going over to the couch to now sit beside her.

"Were going to take care of her here at U.A!" Mirio said excitedly.

"WHAT!" Yurei said, very shocked.

"Eri, you get to be closer to me and the others now. I can't wait to see you more often!" Yurei said, Eri looked very happy as well, being surrounded by people who love her and care.

"Well she couldn't stay at the hospital forever, come outside" Aizawa said, the students walked outside, standing together.

"It looks like eri was abandoned by her parents. and the head of the shie hassaikai whos related to her by blood, has been in a coma for a long time. so she currently has nowhere to go." Aizawa explained, Yurei knew how it felt to be abandoned by a parent.

"And, you might've already heard from Mr. Aizawa, but the horn that Eri's quirk is released from, its starting to get bigger again slowly." Mirio started to say.

"so were keeping her here to refrain from that happening again?" Yurei asked, tilting her head. Ochaco had a smilar question also asking.

"Thats why we're taking care of her instead of sending her to an orphanage. we'll watch her in the teachers dorm. we will help her find her power and a way to live with that great power. there are things we need to check to, for now we'll take things step by step." Aizawa said, Yurei was thankful that they were gonna take care of eri.

"that sounds like a lot of work for you, Mr aizawa" Tsu said.

"Yeah that does, taking care of us and eri sounds like a lot" Yurei said.

"thats where I come in! IM on temporary absence from school, and im friends with Eri! Im sure you're all busy but stop by and visit sometime." mirio said, Yurei started to walk back inside, as Aizawa motioned for them to back in.

Yurei was watching the news with the rest of her class, seeing endeavor and hawks fighting a powerful nomu, he was getting beaten up pretty badly as well. She hugged Shoto tightly as his eyes were wide and he was shaking, watching the news with them.

Everyone was nervous, they all kept glancing at shoto, even Aizawa came out knowing that shoto would be in a terrible state.

Just as they fought more and more, to the point where endeavor took the nomu to the sky, and used a huge amount of power. She saw shotos eyes practically glued onto the screen, watching his own father fight to the death.

As his father had beaten up the nomu, and was standing with his hand raised in the air. Yurei saw shoto crouch down to the ground pressing his hands together. Yurei crouched down beside him, comforting him as he was relived his father hadn't died. some of the classmates and aizawa standing by them concerned for Shoto.

In the end everything was okay, Endevaor survived and fucked up the nomu pretty good.
