Spiritual Awakening [Shoto Todoroki x OC]

•*Chapter 8*•

Yurei finished her candy bar and had moved to the tunnel where she saw Izuku and Shoto fighting at. Yurei continued to watch the battle, analyzing both of her classmates quirks. after a few minutes, she saw shoto trembling, his ice side starting to reach its own limits. Yurei then realized that Midoriya had a good chance at winning.

"Come at me with everything you've got!" Midoriya said, his broken hand clenched.

"What a strange kid, I should talk to him more" Yurei thought, admiring his persistence and determination.

Shoto started to run at Midoriya, but he was slower than usual from the ice. Once he was close enough to make a hit, Mido managed to punch shoto in the gut. Shoto still managing to put ice on Midos broken arm.

"Don't be an idiot shoto. Use it..." Yurei thought as she watched.

The two were going at it still, Mido looked to be slowing down just as Shoto was. Shoto used ice to help make him not go far as Mido blasted him with his thumb. Yurei couldn't hear what they were saying but she suddenly saw part of shotos side covered in ice, as he was punched once again in the gut, being flung backwards.

"Shoto whats happening..." Yurei muttered, her eyes held worry as she watched him slowly get back up.

Yurei watched his fire side activate, making her squint at how bright it was. Before she looked over at the stadium where she saw endeavor yell at shoto. Shoto used a bunch of ice and his fire, being at his full power just as mido was the two clashing together. Creating a huge explosion which resulted in Yurei being pushed back a bit from the force. Yurei got up and quickly looked  for shoto, seeing half his shirt had been torn off in the explosion.

"Shoto!" Yurei muttered as she quickly ran out into the arena and helped shoto up. the audience and the classes looking at Yurei who seemed to careless about them.

"You idiot, you could've gotten more injured!"Yurei said as she had one arm wrapped around Shoto to help stabilize him as the two walked back into the tunnel.

"Yurei..." Shoto muttered. Yurei simply not hearing him, continued to call him an idiot an a bunch of other names.

"Your in my way, you're not going to say that? You need to control your left side..." Endeavor started to say, looking over at Yurei who had an arm still wrapped around him on his left side.

"You're just letting it all out, and it's dangerous. But you have abandoned your childish tantrum and finally become a perfect upgrade of me. After you graduate come work for me! I'll lead you down the path of the mighty." Endeavor said, looking proud? towards shoto.

Yureis grip tightened around shoto, as she stared at endeavor with a glare. Shoto who seemed to take notice in the girls change in emotions, wrapped an arm around her waist.

"There's no way I can abandon anything. it's not something that can be so easily reversed. It's just.. back then for that one moment, i forgot about you..." shoto said. causing Yurei to quietly snicker.

"Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing, whether it is correct or not. I need to think about it." Shoto said, the duo walked past Endeavor. Yurei silent until they got to his recovery room.
