( So this oneshot is basically how i think what the dynamic between Bastet, Anubis, Ra and Set is, this will not be accurate to actual Egyptian mythology btw so if you don't like that you can leave)

_______________________________________________

Set had 5 children, Anubis, Wepwawet, Sobek, Maga, and finally Ricarro but he had one daughter, who he really loved and cared about

Bastet

She was considered the lucky one, she had the best life out of all of Set's children. Nobody expected a lot from her, she was just expected to sit still and look pretty while also being the goddess of things such as good health and protection

You could say the rest of Set's children ( except Ricarro) were a tad bit jealous of her, especially since Set would spoil her, he would give her things such as jewelry and other riches while leaving the rest of his actual children to rot

But nobody could get mad at Bastet, she was practically a victim, a victim of lies, Set's lies. When she found out who Set truly was, she felt guilty, ashamed, and over all just.... Terrible

Anubis used to tell her things about Set, things he actually did, and she wouldn't believe him, she called him a liar, now all she wanted to do was apologize to Anubis for doubting him but she feels too much shame and guilt that she can't even look at him anymore

" See no evil, my dear daughter"

Set would say that a lot to her, it was almost like a spell he would put on her..... And it worked, at least for awhile

Every god and goddess knew that Bastet had the most unique eyes, nobody else had the same eyes as her, but it all changed when she found out

Bastet's eyes once so magnetic and full of life now looked ashamed and filled with betrayal

You could say that her son Kaiba also had that look in his eyes now, but they were still magnetic in a way that no one could really explain, It was the same type of magnetic that Bastet used to have

Now

Here is Bastet, telling the Brypu triplets everything about Set that no one else knew about him

The three had come to her to ask her things about Set, they had heard from their grandfather Anubis that Bastet was Set's favorite child, or more less favorite daughter

Femi- " So.... I'm guessing you still carry a lot of shame and guilt, don't you grandmother? "

Bastet- " Of course..... Set is one of the most terrible gods and I used to be his favorite daughter, i can't help but feel so much guilt and shame "

Atlas- " It's okay grandmother, I'm glad we were able to talk to you about Set, i honestly never thought he could actually care about someone"

Lotus- " Yeah, and it seems like you really wanted to get all of that out your chest"

Bastet- " Well after i found out about the truth i refused to talk to any other god or goddess for a very long time, so I'm just glad i was able to talk a few people "

Atlas- " I'm glad me and my siblings were able to help you, before we leave is there anything you might want to do? "

Bastet- " Well, can you kids convince your papa to take me to the Egyptian underworld? "

Femi- " I'm sure papa wouldn't mind grandmother "

Lotus- " Yeah we should probably go now"

Bastet- " Yes, yes we should "
