Calla Lily

Chapter 4

****Some time skips. The middle part took place in 2009 according to the timeline, so I hope it was right. 

After Tony came out as Iron Man, Calla had spent time trying to help him with the company. She didn't enjoy the office activities but really enjoyed being out there and helping people. Calla traveled between Malibu and New York to help in the office, when she helped the villages like they had planned, she spent a lot of time overseas. SHIELD also couldn't take the hint to leave them alone, Calla had told Agent Coulson that her brother didn't want to work for them and to leave him alone. Agent Coulson had asked what she was traveling overseas for and when she refused to answer, she would find people following her. That didn't endear her to SHIELD any.  

Calla had sat Pepper down and had a long talk with her, she hadn't wanted to let the attitude go. It took a while, but Pepper finally realized that she had been a bitch to Tony. Calla explained that her brother didn't want to date Pepper, she had taken his jokes the wrong way. Looking back, Pepper realized Tony joked around with her the same way he did his sister. With their talk, Pepper promised to stop trying to boss Tony around and they actually had a really good friendship now. 

Stark Industries started helping villages like Yinsens after Tony and Calla set up the foundation. Calla ran the whole program, she knew Tony would give her anything to help but he couldn't go back. Calla made sure that she got money from all of those rich people who liked to brag about giving to charities. Why should Stark Industries have to pay for it all when there were millionaires out there not doing anything worthwhile with their money. Tony had developed some technology that would allow the villages access to clean water and internet, Elon had pitched in for that. 

So between, New York, Malibu and traveling overseas, Calla had been super busy. She had always made sure to check in on her brother, she didn't trust him to tell her how he really was doing. Tony had the mindset that since he was the oldest, she didn't get to worry about him, yet he would blow her phone up if she hadn't checked in every twelve hours.

Calla had been in Iran for about a week, she had spoken with officials of which villages would need the most help. Of the list, three were closest to where she currently was, some of the others were almost on the other side of the country. Hopefully she could get to them all. 

Agent Coulson must have thought his agents were really good or that she was really dumb. Calla had seen a woman following her after her meeting with the officials. Deciding to waste the agents time, Calla took a detour through some of the local shops. Maybe she could find some presents for Tony here. The woman kept a good distance, but she was still too obvious. When Calla had went for lunch, a man joined the woman. Seems she was super special. 

Calla had finished eating, noticing the woman had left, and decided to head out to the first village. She knew she needed to get rid of the tail first. The mistake the agents had made was putting a male with her, he couldn't follow her into the bathroom. It hadn't taken her long to change her appearance and slip out past the agent who had been tailing her. Calla even smiled at the man who was waiting. Stepping outside, she laughed as she took off. 

Calla had been driving down a backroad, the vehicle was not the smoothest ride. She had to pull the map up on her phone to check the direction, pulling over she doubled checked her directions. Negala was where she was headed, seeing that she still had another hour to drive, Calla goes to pull back onto the road but stops when she sees a flash. She looks around, trying to find it again, a cold chill had gone down her spine when she first seen it. 

Pulling back onto the road, Calla decides it's best to get the hell out of there. Just as her car starts to move, another car pulls over with a flat. She didn't want to stop but she knew there was no help out here. "Shit" she mutters, pulling over to the car. She's surprised to see a redheaded woman. "Do you need some help" Calla calls out.
