Calla Lily

Chapter 8

Loki had made sure the agents couldn't speak of what had happened with Calla. He didn't trust them and knew Calla didn't either. She still hadn't woken. Thor had gone home to ask if they could bring Calla and explain what had happened with everything. Loki didn't want to go home unless he knew it was as a free man, he would take punishment but hope the Allfather could understand. 

Tony had told Fury to get out of his home and to stay away. He was still bitter about the nuke and the lies. When he offered Steve a room, he was shocked it was accepted. Fury was pissed about that. He knew Calla had been digging for information on James Barnes. It had taken a lot of talking, but the siblings realized something wasn't right about the whole thing. How had the man who killed their parents looked the exact same age as he did in WWII? Calla thought Hydra had a part in it. 

Steve and Bruce both took Tony's offer of a place to stay. Bruce was worried SHIELD would come after him again. Steve had been speaking with Tony and had more questions than answers. Both knew Tony didn't want anything from them, so he was the best choice. They were also worried about Calla, she hadn't woken yet and they hoped Thor brought back good news.

 Callas eyes opened, she looked around the room and smiled at her brother. Tony was sprawled across the end of her bed. She wasn't sure how it happened but when the first two stones absorbed into her, they called the other three. The information that came with the stones was extraordinary, she now knew exactly why Thanos coveted getting his grubby sausage fingers on them. Calla wasn't sure how long she had been out. Looking at Tony, she smiled and then pinched his nose with her toes.

Tony shot up in the bed, looking for who woke him. When his eyes landed on Calla, he yelped and jumped towards her. "Calla! Oh, thank god. Don't ever do that to me again!" he was squeezing her to death. 

Calla smacked his arm and wheezed, "Can't breathe"

Tony pulled back, "We've been so worried! You're not allowed to do stupid things, that's my job"

She laughed, "Where's Loki? Thor didn't take him, did he?" Calla was worried the Allfather would throw him in a cell.

"Loki, Steve and Bruce are in their rooms. Thor went to speak with Odin about seeing you. Fury, Romanoff and Barton were removed. I did give them the scepter and cube. They don't know they're useless" Tony tells her, seeing her confused look, he adds, "Loki made sure they couldn't tell anyone what happened."

"Shockingly, I actually feel great. I think my magic helped me acclimate to the stones." calla told him, climbing from the bed. She looked to her brother, "We need to tell Steve what we found. I'm going to shower. Can you have everyone together for a talk in an hour?"

Tony stands, kissing her forehead, "I'll gather the troops. You wash up, you kinda smell" he dodges her hand and runs from the room.

Organizing her mind while she took a hot shower seemed best. the stones had given her information and a power boost, she would have to practice to be able to control it. Knowing Thanos was looking for the stones, she smirked, he would never find them now. Maybe once she spoke with Loki, he would be willing to help her train. Right now, she needed to mentally prepare for the talk they were going to have with Steve.

 Walking into the kitchen, Calla ran for the coffee pot. Hearing chuckles behind her, she turned. Seems like they were all ready for the talk. She looked at the kitchen chairs and waved them to follow to the living room. 

"I want to be comfortable for this" Tony laughed at her but lead everyone out.

Settling in the living room, Calla looked over to Steve. Taking a deep breath, she said, "Your friend, Bucky, I think he's somehow still alive" seeing the disbelief on his face, she says, "The day our parents were killed, I saw the man who did it. Steve, it was him but there was something off. The man I saw that night looked the same as he did in WWII."
