Naina , laden with bags , is unexpectedly, pulled backward, finding herself pressed against a sturdy chest. Her heart raced as she struggled to regain balance. The sudden grip on her waist sent shivers down her spine.

She tried to push away , but the chest behind her felt like an unyielding wall.

"Hey, careful there!" a deep , smooth voice whispered in her ear.

"Your shoes laces are untied" that man whispered.

She looked up to thank her rescuer. But his face was obscured by a mask, hiding his features. A cap resting on his head.

"Thank you ", she managed to say , her voice barely above a whisper.

The stranger's grip on her lingered , ensuring that she was steady . His eyes, though hidden, seemed to hold a deep intensity.

"You're welcome", his low, smooth voice replied.

She stepped back , his hand releasing her. Their bodies parted , but the sensation of his chest lingering against her remained.

The rescuer stood tall , his height easily above 6 feet. His board chest and shoulders filled out his fitted black hoodie, accentuating his chiseled physique.

His hands , which are now released from Naina's waist, hung loose, revealing long fingers and a sliver watch glinting in his wrist.

The buzzing of his phone snap both of them to reality. " Tie your laces properly" he said softly and received the phone call and moved towards the corridor.

Naina ties her laces properly and pick her bags and moved out of the mall. Her mind is somehow is not disturbed as it was earlier. Driving through the jammed roads of  Mumbai, Naina glanced at the sky , full of clouds like it's going to rain heavily.

For others, rain might be romantic, a backdrop for cozy moments with loved ones. But for her, rain held a different significance. As droplets washed the ground, cleansing the earth, they also soothed the weight within her heart. Rain was her solace, her constant companion. In its gentle touch, she found peace.
