"It's not fair!" I cried, sobbing into a pillow yet again. Beca held me and rocked with me gently, rubbing my back. "I know, I know..one day you'll find someone to replace Bree."

Chloe nodded. "You'll realise how much of a dick she can be." The redhead smiled. I groaned loudly and freed myself from Beca's grip. "Fuck it. I'm gonna do what I always used to do. It always worked." I snapped before touching up my makeup and pulling on a nice dress.

Beca shook her head and grabbed my hand, attempting to reason with me. "Stacie. It's unhealthy! Don't do that again. I-I can't bear to hear you slag off any boy that does it wrong or any other issues you have with them."

"And who said it was gonna be a guy? I don't even like guys!" I yelled. I grabbed my nicest bag and threw my phone and wallet into it before reaching the front door. "See you two tomorrow!" I grinned.

"Hey cutie. Can I buy you a drink?" A tall, blonde guy asked me. I shrugged. "Whatever."

He laughed and ordered us both a martini. "You okay?" He smiled. "Uh..I don't know. How would you feel if the girl of your dreams turned out to be a huge narcissist and a bitch?" I snapped. I sighed and took my drink off him. "Sorry. I didn't mean to upset you or anything, I was just asking.." He muttered.

I took a sip from my glass and shook my head. "No, I should be the one apologising. I didn't need to snap like that." I said. He held his hand out to me, which I shook reluctantly. "I'm Jamie. You?"

"Stacie." I said, sweetly enough. "Uh, so, about that girl..what happened?"

"How much time have you got?" I laughed. Jamie checked his watch and looked back at me. "About three hours. So?"

"Well, at first she was sweet. Like, she'd let me borrow her pens and shit in lesson. I knew since the second I layed eyes on her that I wouldn't stop trying until she was mine. I kept telling myself I could wait for her, until eventually I gave up and asked her. Then she...rejected me. I told her I'd wait for her." I explained. Jamie frowned. "Then how's she such a dick?"

I took another sip from my drink. "You know, I'm not even sure why I'm telling you this. Anyway, so she told me she actually did want to go out with me. Which pissed me right off. So I basically told her to fuck off, and then she got all upset and I was really annoyed. My best friend went round to her place, told her what she thought of the situation. So the girl I liked called her names and shit, which I wouldn't have minded if it didn't lead my best friend of almost nineteen years to try and jump off a bridge. Oh, and that isn't even the worst part! This girl started victimising herself about it, saying 'oh I'm such a monster! how could I drive someone off a bridge!' so of course, I snapped." I said. Jamie's eyes were wide and he blinked at me repeatedly, jaw dropped. "Holy shit."

I laughed at his reaction and took another sip. "Is that not all because of you, though?" He suggested. I practically exploded, my drink firing out of my mouth. "Excuse me? You've known me not even ten minutes! Who the fuck are you to say that?"

Jamie took a sip from his own drink. "Just a suggestion..but I do think that love made that girl crazy. She went mad because she loved you so much. So, go and get your girl." He said.

"Yeah, no. I'm not getting with the girl who nearly made my friend kill herself. Okay?" I replied. He downed the rest of his drink and shrugged. "Can't help you then. See you around, Stacie."

I stormed into my dorm and threw my bag down at the floor. "For fucksake!" I screamed, punching the wall. I cried out in pain and held my fist, then dropped to my knees and began to sob.

Beca jumped off of Amy's bed, then crouched next to me and put her hand on my back. "Did you get fucked too hard?"

I pushed her away and sat on the floor, still crying. "Oh, fuck off! I didn't get fucked at all."

Amy gasped. "Woah! Now that is crazy."  I flipped her off and rested my head on the wall. "I lost someone great, didn't I?"

Beca laughed exaggeratedly, then shook her head. "Fuck no! That girl doesn't deserve someone as amazing as you." Beca told me. "But I want her! I need her! I was literally born to date her!" I yelled.

"Sometimes we aren't all just born to do something, Stace. That crap only happens in the movies." Chloe smiled. "But Lana Del Rey was born to die! Everyone is born to die." I defended.

"That's a meaningless song, Stace." Beca laughed.

Cupcake sat next to me and licked my cheeks. "You think me and Aubrey are perfect together, right?" I smiled hopefully.

But even Cupcake was looking at me weird. "Oh, go fuck yourselves." I snapped.

Emily moved close to me and gave me a hug. "I think you'd be a great couple!" She told me. I looked up and grinned. "You do?" She nodded quickly. "Yep. Don't listen to them." She tilted her head towards the others.

"Hey, I think they could work it out! Just..in another world." Beca laughed.
