What letting go feels like?

She hopped down from the porch seat

and brushed off tainted memories.

She closed her eyes,

turned her face towards the sky,

and breathed in the fresh air of letting go.

The soft rays of the setting sun

kissed every feature of her body; renewed.

And just when the dark is about to come,

scented candles were lit and vinyl music was played;

she felt free.
