Dear Henry,

I've decided to come to your wedding. It feels like walking willingly into a storm, but I'll weather it for you. Each step towards that day is agony, a knife twisting in my heart, but I'll endure it. Because that's what love is, isn't it? Putting someone else's happiness before your own, even when it tears you apart.

Our friendship has been a beautiful journey. Even if it ends with my heart in pieces, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Every laugh, every tear, every quiet moment, they're all precious to me. I'll hold them close as I watch you begin your new life, a life that doesn't include me.

You said I hung the moon. I hope she makes you feel like you've caught every star in the sky. I hope she loves you with the fierce, unending devotion you deserve, the way I've loved you silently all these years. I hope she makes you happier than I ever could.

And I hope, someday, I'll mean it when I say these things.

See you soon, for the last time as the Henry I've known and loved. After this, you'll be hers, and I'll be left clinging to memories and dreams that will never come true.

Forever yours, even if you'll never know,
Celine
