When you feel the darkness within you, look for the light.
And if you found it, you have to make sure it stays with you. It will keep you warm and make you feel safe.
But sometimes we can't do anything to make our light stay. It will burn out at some point.
Sometimes they stay longer and sometimes they burn out.
Sometimes they burn out way too quickly.
That's what you told me Mom, when we lost Dad and I tried to go with him. I didn't understand you at all. I was just 13 years old.
