Deepika's POV

"Kucch to hua hai. Hmm hmm hmm hmm. Kucch toh hua hai. Haaa hmm hmm.", I did not even recognize how, but I subconsciously hummed this tune while roaming the college gardens with Bittu.

(A famous Bollywood song which depicts the magic of falling in love)

"Hmm, kya hua hai Mitthu?", his tone was teasing and only then did I realize my folly. I had practically given this guy some content to tease me, and now the idiotic crow won't stop.

(kya hua hai Mitthu - what has happened Mitthu)

His college, which is one of the most reputed one in Mumbai has this sort of an annual flower festival. Every and all sorts of exotic flowers, wildflowers, the local flowers - basically everything that I would want to see. To be frank, tulips are my favourite, but there's just something about flowers that fascinates me in more ways than one.

"Kucch nahi hua, you stupid Bittu.", I pointed out an angry finger in his direction making him chuckle.

(Kucch nahi hua - nothing has happened)

"Chhal jhoothi. I am definitely sure that all of your smiles and these silent giggles, these songs you are constantly humming and that blush on your face has something, or rather, has everything to do with that husband of yours. That's the truth right, tell me.", his face had a smug expression as though he had just deciphered some mystery, but his words were enough to remind me for the umpteenth time, all the sweet moments I shared with Varun in the morning, and I could feel my cheeks heating up with a blush yet again.

(Chhal jhoothi - you liar)

"What nonsense!", I exclaimed weakly, and as much as this idiotic crow knew me, he would surely understand the fakeness of my words.

"Hmm, but that blush of yours speaks otherwise.", he wiggled his eyebrows earning from me a quick smack on his bicep.

"Ouch, you violent woman."

I rolled my eyes at his dramatics.

"Huh", he gasped out suddenly, his voice raised a bit, "jiju kissed you, didn't he? You sly, sly Mitthu. Kiss wiss bhi ho gaya haa?"

(Kiss wiss bhi ho gaya haa? - you guys kissed and all)

Oh my goodness, I had a scandalized expression on my face as I saw a group of teenager girls who were walking at a distance, staring at us and giggling amongst each other. I spared them a rather constipated smile and smacked that stupid Bittu, this time on his head.

"What the heck yaar Mitthu?", he rubbed his head where I had hit him. I guess my hit was too hard, but nothing that he did not deserve.

"What was the need to be so loud you idiot?"

"Arre, I was excited for you."

"Hmm, maybe that's why you felt the need to announce non-existent things.", I taunted him.

"That means you guys did not kiss.", he literally had a pout on his face now. Whatever for? Varun was right to call him a grown-up kid.

I stared at him in disbelief, "Why are you being sad now? Unbelievable. You are literally crazy Bittu."

"So are you, stupid Mitthu.", he stuck out his tongue.

We walked along for some more time until we halted near a huge stall of tulips. A wide grin formed on my face as stared at all those gorgeous beauties in front of me.

"Bittu", I called out to him only to see that he had already began selecting one out of each variety of tulip, and helping the stall owner to create a bouquet. My heart filled with that familiar warmth at that gesture. Such was the bond we shared, he understood what I had wanted to say without even me needing to spell it out for him. As he always had.
