Hello hello ^-^!

Another forgotten story lol!

I updated this story at June 6 last year and since then... It was dead for more than 1 year lol!

I have an explanation of course. I have been studying for an exam and was trying to finish my other unfinished fanfictions lol!

But now I'm returned and already finished this fanfiction ^-^! It won't be a long fanfiction though. Because for some reason... I am unable to write long fictions for now... Maybe because of my depression or stress... I don't know...

Anyway, I won't bore you all with it ^-^!

Warning!

This chapter contains alcoholism, childhood abuse, suicide and self-harm, abandonment, and mental health issues!

If you don't like it, or are uncomfortable with it, please don't read the chapter! I won't tolerate any hate comments or insults!

If you decide to read the story any way, enjoy ^-^!

Odasaku sat across from Dazai in a small, dimly lit café. The two men had met through a mutual acquaintance, both feeling lost and seeking solace in the company of a stranger.

"I can't imagine how hard it must have been," Odasaku said, taking a sip of his coffee. "Being alone with an alcoholic father, especially at such a young age."

Dazai looked down at the table, tracing his finger along the edge of the coaster. "It was... It was hell. Sometimes, I still feel like I'm in it."

"But you survived, Dazai," Odasaku said, placing a reassuring hand on Dazai's arm. "And here we are today."

Dazai met Odasaku's gaze, a sad smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Here we are. And you, my friend, happen to know someone who might be able to help me."

Odasaku nodded solemnly. "Yes, I heard about your suicide attempt. It's not too late to seek help."

Dazai shook his head slowly. "That's the thing. It feels like it's too late. I have carried this burden for so long, and I just don't think anything can change it."

Odasaku leaned forward, his eyes filled with sincerity. "You have come this far, Dazai. That's proof enough that you are strong enough to carry on, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. You deserve to find peace and happiness. It's not too late."

Dazai studied his hands, the scars from his past attempts visible against his pale skin. "What if I'm too damaged to be fixed?"

"No one is beyond repair, Dazai," Odasaku replied firmly. "People heal in their own time, and with the right support, you can work through your past and rebuild your future. Trust the process."

A weight seemed to lift off Dazai's chest, and he took a deep breath. "Alright, I will try. For myself, if nothing else."

Odasaku smiled warmly. "That's all anyone can ask. But I will be here, ready to support you every step of the way."

Dazai interlocked his fingers, a glimmer of hope flickering in his eyes. "Thank you, Odasaku. I truly appreciate it."
