Breaking News!!
A composed anchorwoman with striking features appears on the screen.
"When you think of secret societies, what comes to mind? The Freemasons? The Illuminati? Tonight, we bring you an exclusive interview with a member of a very secretive society, revealing all with documented proof of their existence. This is an interview you won't want to miss, only on GNC, after these messages."

Interviewer: "Good evening, I'm Roberta Townsend, here with Ingrid De La Cruz. Hello, Ingrid. How are you tonight?"
Ingrid: "I'm doing fine, Roberta."
Interviewer: "Why are we here?"
Ingrid: "To expose the evil society I've been a member of my entire life."
Interviewer: "This society is called The Sons and Daughters of the Serpent. What does that mean?"
Ingrid: "Our society embodies the serpent, symbolizing deception. We've hidden our existence in plain sight for centuries dating back to the twelfth century."
Interviewer: "So, your society has its own currency, hierarchy, and infrastructure. I've seen the documents. How has this been possible, especially on U.S. soil?"
Ingrid: "The government can't search and seize without probable cause. We don't commit crimes against citizens, officials, or property protected by U.S. law. We generally keep to ourselves."
Interviewer: "Your hierarchy-who runs this society?"
Ingrid: "My brother, Santiago De La Cruz. He's the king. There's a council that works closely with him, but he holds absolute power."
Interviewer: "You say this society is evil, but I'm not getting that vibe. Maybe you meant evil on an individual level?"
Ingrid: "Indeed. The men seek power, and the women are just pawns. We're sold off like cattle and bred like mares."
Interviewer: "That is indeed horrifying. You mentioned earlier that no crime has been committed against any citizens, yet there is documentation proving otherwise. It states that the so-called king of this society abducted and raped a U.S. citizen named Athena Stacey."

Interviewer: "This document also states he faked her death to force her into marriage. Am I correct?"
Ingrid: "Yes, that is correct."
Ingrid reveled in the lights and the camera. This was her only escape. If their secret society was exposed, they'd focus on remaining hidden instead of finding her. No one would come after her. Their mother had always wanted a life where they could be happy-not bound to a destiny determined by a husband who saw her as a polished trophy.
When Santiago told her who she would marry, she knew she had to run. Santiago was a manipulative, murderous bastard like their father, and she was sure his best friend, Judge Kian Michaels, was no different.
Ingrid frowned, giving the interviewer her best victim look-big eyes glittering with tears and a trembling bottom lip as she described the atrocities. She knew her beauty made people more empathetic, a tool she wielded skillfully.
