Over the past few weeks, you found yourself having a hard time staying in your room. Tonight was no different as you had woken up from yet another nightmare. You were messed under your blankets, trying desperately to go back to sleep but the storm outside wasn't helping. You tried to be brave, hugging Mr cuddles close to your chest but even he couldn't make you brave.

Slowly you sat up in bed, debating on whether to seek comfort from your aunts and uncles or not. Just a few days ago they sat you down, telling you, you needed to start staying in your own room, being a big girl and all, but it wasn't that simple. A loud bang of thunder sounded outside your room, making you jump as you forced the blanket over your head. It was then that you had made up your mind, you needed comfort, now.

You quickly hopped out of your bed and b-lined it for the door. You quickly, yet quietly opened it, peaking your head out into the dark, candlelit stone hallway. No one seemed to be up, so you snuck out of your room and walked on your tiptoes to the room next door. you placed your hand on the handle and opened it slightly, just enough to fit yourself through the crack. You clutched Mr. Cuddles as you tip-toed inside. You glanced at the bed that your aunt and uncle were sleeping in, then at the crib, your sister was in. That's when an idea popped into your head. They had asked you to stay out of their bed, but never once said anything about your sister's crib.

Clutching hold of Mr cuddles, you quietly shut the door before tip-toeing over to your sister's crib. Trying not to make any noise, you dropped him over the railing before climbing inside. Thankfully your sister didn't stir as she clutched her own stuffed animal, Miss Rabbit. Carefully you pulled up her small blanket, laying down beside her. You had to sleep in a ball-like shape if you were to fit in the blanket, but you didn't mind. After a few minutes, you were able to fall right to sleep.

But not long after you ended up waking Eliza by kicking her. A habit you were known to do in your sleep. She woke up, rubbing her eyes to see you next to her. She looked at you with confusion. "(Y/N)?" she questioned, sitting up. You ended up rolling around again, sprawling yourself out across her mattress. She tried to move your arm and leg so she could lie down again, but your body was too heavy for her to move. So she climbed out of her own crib and walked over to her parent's bed.

She toddled over to her mother, her small hand pulling on the blankets. "Mama," she called out, not knowing how to be quiet just yet.

Gothel stored for a moment. Her sleepy eyes opened slightly as she saw her youngest daughter standing in front of her.''Eliza?" she questioned as she slowly sat up. "What are you doing out of your crib?"

"(Y/N)" she said pointing to her crib. Gothel looked over to see you sleeping in the place Eliza should have been in. She let out an exhausted sigh as she rubbed her face.

"Everything alright?" Frollo questioned, waking from the noise.

"You'll never guess who's in Eliza's crib," Gothel mumbled in a sleepy tone.

Frollo, still not fully awake, looked over at Eliza's crib to see you sleeping in it. He let out a frustrated sigh as he sat up in bed. " I thought we told her to sleep in her own bed?"

"We did." Gothel whispered "But I guess she found a way around our "stay out of our bed" policy."

"Still, she needs to learn she can't come in here because she had a nightmare."

"I know, but we have to remember she is just a child."

"and a kicker at that," Frollo grumbled as he pulled the blankets off of him and slid out of bed. "You take care of Eliza, I'll Take care of (Y/N)" he then walked over to the crib and lifted you into his arms. You stirred slightly but didn't wake. He carefully carried you back to your bed, laying you down underneath your covers.

As he tucked you in, you stirred once more, eyes begging to open. "Shh, (Y/N) you're safe," he said as he placed a kiss on your forehead. You closed your eyes as your head sunk into your pillow once more, slowly drifting back off into dreamland.
