"Are you out of your mind, Laur?" Was the first thing to come out of Kasey's mouth when her sister spotted Luke at the mall and told her to go talk to him.
"No, I'm not," Laura rolled her eyes, "I just want you to talk to him."
"Hell no. And not when I look like this." She gestured to her The Hunger Games t - shirt and short shorts.
If Laura Castillo was anything, it was stubborn. A trait her and her sister shared equally.
"He's seen you in worse."
Kasey finally seemed to snap. "Forget it, Laur. It's not happening," Laura's face fell and hurt was obvious in her eyes, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you, it's just hard, okay? I've known him for ten years and he ditched me for kids he'd known for ten minutes." She sighed, rubbing her temples slightly.
"I know it is, I just want the best for my baby sis."
Kasey groaned, "I'm not that much younger than you and Ryan."
The elder of the two smirked. "Yes you are. You'll always be my baby sister."
"Five years is not that much!" She argued, folding her arms over her chest.
"Yes, it is."
"Is not!"
