As soon as they helicopter landed, numerous tubbies stepped out, most being a dark green, but one was pink, white, and black respectively.
"What the hell happened here?" asked one of the dark green tubbies who observed the carnage. He then looked to the Guardian and Laa Laa as they ran forward. "I'm Sargent Miles. Are you the ones who sent the distress call?"
The Guardian nodded. "Yeah, we've been through a lot and we need to get out of here."
"Sir! You might want to come take a look at this!" shouted a soldier as he ran next to them. Without thinking, the Guardian ran with Sargent Miles to where the soldier directed. After going up and over the hill, both tubbies gasped.
Down below was a horde of newborns, many of them screaming, some of them silent, but all moving along with dreadful implications. Sargent Miles spoke into his radio. "Prepare all units for an invasion."
The Guardian looked him him before turning back to the newborn army below. "We must fight."
But then, Sargent Miles looked to him as if he got a first grade level math problem wrong. "We? You and the others aren't doing anything."
The Guardian looked up at him, confused and angry at the same time. "What!? Why not!?"
"You and the others are all too important, and we need to ensure that each and every one of you are alive and well," said Sargent Miles. The Guardian wasn't exactly ok with such a response. "But I want to help!" he said angrily.
"You will, just not at the moment," said Miles before gesturing back to the others. "Let's get back for now."
The Guardian grunted but followed, and soon they were back with the other tubbies. "What did you see?" asked the pink tubby. "Enemies, lots of them, all heading this way. We need to do something," spoke Miles.
He paused for a bit before looking at the white tubby and a few others next to him. "Conor, take a team and find out where they're coming from."
"Yes, sir!" he said, heading off whilst being followed by those next to him.
"Anne and everyone else except Dutch will stay with me," he ordered, then switching over to the black tubby. "You will take everyone here back to base. Is everyone clear?"
Everyone nodded, and then the black tubby approached the Guardian. "Everyone else is already on board, please follow me."
The Guardian did as he was told and soon found himself on the helicopter alongside Tinky Winky and Po, while Dipsy and Laa Laa were exploring around, having never even heard of such a thing as a helicopter. Their curiosity, ultimately though, did indeed bring a small smile to his face. Before long though, they took off, flying high above into the air.
After a while, the Guardian found himself smiling at the sight of the four teletubbies looking through the window. Amidst the chaos they'd recently found themselves in the middle of, at least something could occupy them. The Guardian couldn't help but let a tear fall down his cheek as he tried to comprehend what would've happened if not all of them made it, or if none of them did.
"Hey, you good?" asked the black tubby, Dutch. The Guardian remained in a decent mood, all things considered as he looked up at him. "Overall, I just hope the future will be alright, at least for them."
Dutch smiled as he glanced at the four tubbies. "Yeah, don't worry, we'll make sure to take care of them as well. You and them are safe now."
