In season 1, I genuinely enjoyed Jake's character. He was funny, enthusiastic and we got Jam so win win. I felt like his relationship with Miriam was genuinely kinda sweet. The only thing is, I felt like he completely changed after Tom was exposed to be a spy.

Ahem. After Alec and Fiore got Ellie to basically sabotage Jam (which is not very silly of them), Tom's stupid ass used the totem on Jake and got out.

The entire time afterwards, Ellie just like beat the shit out of Jake's entire character.

God, do I really have to talk about All Stars? Alright, fine.

Now at first, I honestly couldn't stand jake. I mean, in every episode he would be whining about something new and "tom and aiden, ugh!!!". Not to mention, him randomly fighting with James and making him FIRST BOOT 😮‍💨

Basically every episode, Ellie would pull some stupid shit and Jake would explode in rage and cry and whine and oh god. Ellie, why.

Episode 6 kinda enfuriated me a bit because Ellie once again pulled something to emphasize Tomden or whatever. The creators pulled the Tomden kiss right out of nowhere. I mean, was it really necessary?

Oh and also I can't talk about Jake without mentioning his whole feud with Ally. I don't know what was going on but basically, Ally doesn't like Jake, Jake's mad, they fight until merge, the end.

Ever since Tom got eliminated, I felt like Jake kind of improved. Keyword KIND OF. I mean for once, he isn't mad at Aiden for some stupid reason.

I do like how he let Connor vent to him in episode 14, I really wanna see more of them in episode 16

I feel like he's inbetween great and horrible. He isn't the best and he isn't a complete asshole with no morals.

I honestly feel like Jake deserves a 6.8/10 (i only put him higher because I liked his friendship with Aiden)

So yeah, Jake's a pretty normal dude 🤷
