at the beginning (in the beninging), i literally lived off of emily and trevor's dynamic and how emily supported trevor. you know, when trevek wasn't just fan service.

episode 10 was truly a turning point, i mean yeah emily was giving yul an advantage but like STILLLLLLL

all fairs in love and paintball more like nothings fair bring emily back

when we first got a glimpse of emily explaining her revenge plan to trevor, i knew shit was gonna go downhill. it was obvious that the plan was NOT gonna work.

episode 20, where do i start

NOT EMILY TRYNA SNEAK IN AFTER ALMOST GETTING TREVOR FIRED LIKE THATS CRAZY

emily went from sassy redhead to "I NEED TO GET REVENGE ON THESE PEOPLE RAHH"

trevek being the "power couple" used their superpowers and took her down (and also got her mauled)

where do i even start with the derailment

emily was literally one of my favorite hosts, i loved her from day 1 up until episode 20 of dcas. emily's development all went to waste.

she had so much going for her but instead the writers turned her down to "I HATE YOU ALL I'M GETTING MY REVENGE AND I'M GETTING THIS SHOW CANCELLED ALSO FUCK YOU KRYSTAL"

emily is quite a good example of character derailment. after episode 20, literally everybody moved her down like 4 tiers on their character tier list.

emily is kinda just like alec but on steroids.

alec had a lot going for him in season 1, he made it to the final 4 and won almost every merge challenge. he was my favorite gen 1 character for the longest time. once all stars began, the derailment was actually crazy. his villain arc wasn't even led by the fact that fiore and ellie betrayed him and got him out before the finals. instead, he was fueled by trying to apologize to connor and riya being a bitch. he went from an actual character with personality to an emotional wreck.

however, alec is still likeable. emily however, wellll...

emily is shown as an intern for season 4 so maybe she'll have a redemption arc but for now, she's on extremely thin ice.
